교과별 PCK에 기초한 초등 교사의 수업 전문성 신장 방안

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사 전문성 분야에서 활발히 논의되고 있는 Pedagogical Content Knowledge(이하 PCK)에 대해 교과별 연구 현황을 살펴보고, PCK와 수업 전문성의 관계, PCK를 통한 수업 설계와 실행에 주는 시사점을 통해 초등교육에 주는 함의를 탐색해 보았다. 각 교과별로 PCK 연구 현황을 살펴본 결과 수학과와 과학과에서는 교수학적 지식의 형성 과정, 적절한 교수 방법, 실제 수업에의 반영 등 이론과 실제를 넘나드는 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있었다. 반면에 국어과에서는 다루어야 할 지식이 명료하지 않아 그 연구가 활발하지 못한 편이다. 하지만, 전반적으로 PCK는 교과교육연구의 중핵을 이루는 개념으로 각 교과에서 교사의 종합적 실천지로 규정되고 있다. 초등학교에서의 전문성은 각 교과에 대한 것을 잘 갖추고 있을 때에 이루어진다. 즉 초등교사는 초등교육에서 교과내용 지식, 교수학습방법 지식, 학생 지식, 상황 지식이 고루 갖추고 있어야 한다. 교사들은 PCK의 경험에 따라 수업 설계와 실행에서의 능력의 차이점들을 질적으로 드러내고, 교육의 성과에도 많은 영향을 끼치게 된 다. 초등교사는 다양한 PCK를 통해 교과별 수업 전문성을 가질 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This purpose of this study was to investigate subject research position by PCK, the relation between PCK and specialty in instruction, instruction design and instruction implementation through PCK in order to grasp the implication of elementary education. Research is being carried out a variety of theory and practice, pedagogical knowledge formation process, a suitable teaching method, reflection in class by science and mathematics. On the other hand research is not being carried out by Korean language as it is not plain. But, PCK was fixed by the synthetic phronesis of the teacher. Specialty in elementary school was approached with content knowledge for teaching, teaching and learning method knowledge, knowledge of student, situation knowledge. Teachers bear no resemblance in instruction design and instruction implementation with experience of PCK. It has teachers subject specialty through suitable PCK.
