후기 청소년의 문화자본, 직업포부, 교육포부, 학업성취의 구조적 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 전문대학에 재학하고 있는 후기 청소년들의 문화자본이 교육포부 및 직업포부를 매개로 학업성취에 이르는 인과관계를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 전문대학에 진학하는 학생들에 대하여 우리사회는 학습능력이 부족하여 4년제 대학 진학 에 실패하였거나, 부모의 사회경제적 배경이 낮아 취업을 우선적으로 희망하는 열등한 존재로 인식하고 있다. 실제로 전문대학생들은 4년제 대학으로 편입학을 시도하거나 취업을 희망하는 등 다양한 목표를 소유하고 있다. 학력에 대한 개인적 열망과 취업에 대한 사회적 요구가 혼재되어 있는 전문대학에서 후기 청소년들은 어떻게 학업을 수행하는가에 연구의 초점을 두었다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 전문대학생의 문화자본은 학업성취에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 전문대학생의 직업포부는 학업성취에 직접적인 효과를 미치지 못하고 교육포부를 통해 간접적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed to investigate a causal relationship between the cultural capital of college students in late adolescence and academic performance by the medium of educational aspiration and vocational aspiration. Our society thinks that college students in late adolescence had failed to University. Their parents have a low socio-economic backgrounds. According to this background, our society has recognized them as a student who lacks study skills. In fact, they have a variety of goals. They want to go to University. And they hope to have a job. As a result, college has a duplication of requirements for a academic career and for a job. The focus of this study is placed on how students reach academic achievement in the college. The results of the study: First, the cultural capital of college students in late adolescence was confirmed that has a positive effect on academic achievement effect. Second, their vocational aspirations did not affect a direct effect on academic achievement. In the end, it had to reach the goal by way of educational aspiration.
