국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아시절에 자연친화적 교육이 매우 중요하며, 유아를 지도하게 될 예비교사 들을 대상으로 우리의 전통소재인 한지에 관한 내용을 실습과 함께 교육함으로써 예비교사들에게 한지에 대한 사전 체험교육의 중요함을 인지하게 하는데 있다. 또한 궁극적으로는 유아를 위한 미술체험에 활용되는 자연친화적 재료를 통한 자연친화교육과 동시에, 우리 생활 속에 담겨있는 전통문화를 교육할 수 있는 환경을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 첫째, 유아시절 전통문화교육의 중요성에 대해 알아보고, 전통소재인 한지의 재료적 특성들을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 유아교육에서의 자연친화교육의 의미와 이를 시행하는 유아교사를 위한 자연친화교육에 대해 탐구하였다. 셋째, 전통소재인 한지를 활용한 자연친화교육의 의미를 확인 하고 한지 전문가와 함께 예비교사를 대상으로 한지교육을 실시한 후 그들의 저널을 분석하여 새로운 교육방법에 대해 고찰하였다. 본 연구에서는 자연친화적이고 전통소재인 한지를 활용하여 자연친화교육을 실천하고 그 결과를 분석함으로써 유아교육을 시행할 예비교사들에게 한지에 대한 사전교육이 절실히 필요함을 확인하 였다. 이 같은 연구는 자연친화교육에 한지와 같은 자연친화적 재료를 활용하는 경우 우리문화를 같이 학습하는 좋은 교육사례로 예비교사들에게 전통천연재료를 통한 다양한 자연친화형 체험학습과 우리 전통문화를 함께 다룰 수 있는 융합적 교육모델로 활용되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The aim of this research is to show the importance of nature-friendly education in childhood and educate prospective teachers the significance of learning about Hanji, which is the subject of our traditional materials. The ultimate goal is to propose to an environment where we can share the cultural heritage in our lives through natural materials which are used in our artistic experience for children. First, we learned about the importance of cultural heritage through early childhood education using Hanji, and we studied the characteristics of Hanji which is a traditional and natural material. Second, we considered the meaning of nature-friendly education in early childhood learning and what prospective teachers should comprehend in this area. Third, we analyzed the meaning of nature-friendly education using Hanji and conducted a study with the purpose of educating prospective teachers and analyzing their journals. This paper recognizes the meanings of nature-friendly education through working with Hanji which is a traditional and natural material. It has become necessary for prospective teachers to incorporate nature-friendly education elements in early childhood teaching. Such studies include natural materials such as Hanji which is used to teach us our cultural heritage. This study shows there is a convergence education model in which prospective teachers can learn about cultural heritage in addition to learning about nature-friendly experiences through usage of traditional materials such as Hanji.
