교원양성대학 학생들의 학업 및 진로 고민에 대한 합의적 질적 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 교원양성대학 학생들이 경험하는 학업 및 진로에 대한 고민의 내용을 탐색하고 정리하여, 교원양성 학생들의 학업과 진로를 조력하기 위한 프로그램 개발 및 교원양성대학의 교육과정 개선에 있어 기초 자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 교원양성대학에 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 학업 및 진로에 대한 어려움을 묻는 질문지를 배부하여 2017년 4월부터 한달간 총 104명의 질문지를 수거하였다. 수집된 자료는 합의적 질적 분석-수정본(CQR-M)의 절차에 따라 분석하였으며, 총 5회의합의과정을 통해 최종 결과를 도출하였다. 그 결과, 학업관련 고민으로는 대학공부방법이 낯설고 힘듦, 공동학습 과정에서의 갈등, 학습동기와 흥미 부족, 학습수준이 높아짐, 학습할 양이 많음, 학사관리 체계에 대한 불편감, 교육실습에 대한 부담, 경제적지원 부족의 총 8개의 범주가 도출되었고, 진로관련 고민으로는 임용고사 응시 및 결과에 대한 불안, 교사로서의 자질과 역할에 대한 고민, 자기이해부족으로 인한 심리적 불편감, 임용고사 준비 과정에서의 고민, 교사 이외 진로개발상의 제약, 교사로 진로를 결정하여 걱정 없음, 원치 않은 진학으로 인한 회의감의 총 7개의 범주가 도출되었다. 이후 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 교사 양성 및 대학생 학업 및 진로 조력 체계에 대한 시사점과 추후 연구 방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore academic and career difficulties of college students in the institute of teacher education and to give data to help the institutes of teacher education improve their curriculum and develop program for their students’ study and career. In this study, 104 students who are in the institute of teacher education answered to a questionnaire asking academic and career difficulties, and the data were analyzed by a consensual qualitative research-modified(CQR-M). As a result, total 8 categories were drawn in academic difficulties; unfamiliar and difficult study method, conflict in group study, lack of learning motivation and interest, high level of study, lots of study volume, uncomfortable university graduate management system, pressure of teaching practicum, lack of financial support. And total 7 categories were drawn in career difficulties; anxiety to take and fail in teacher qualification exam, worries about qualification and roles of teacher, psychological discomfort coming from lack of self-understanding, worries in preparing process of teacher qualification exam, limitation on developing other career except being teacher, no worries because of deciding to be a teacher, regret coming here without want. Based on these results, discussion was suggested on curriculum of institutes of teacher education and program for their students’ study and career and meaning and suggestion for future study were proposed.
