영문 초록

The purpose of this study is classified elderly population into two kind of income groups to investigate the impact of the characteristics of destination non-commuting travel of elderly population by the income group using multiple regression analysis. According to the result of the analyses, the impacts of the characteristics of destination were different for each elderly population group. Based on the finding, we reached the conclusion as follows: First, as a result, elderly population have different travel pattern by the income groups. Therefore, it is necessary for elderly population to provide convenience for their activities and suitable transport policies in terms of welfare, differently for each income group. Second, the non-commuting travel of elderly population is mainly affected by the land-use characteristics of destination. Furthermore, the travel pattern was different for each income group. Based on the result of the analysis local government should plan and manage the facilities and the services which are related to the activities of elderly population, especially, by income group.
