영문 초록

The research conducted an empirical analysis on how community involvement in urban regeneration projects effects on the participation, surveying residents of Goseong-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, who actually participated in the project. There has been growing interest in the urban regeneration projects that involve community participation, due to the establishment of the collaborative governance system that includes residents, administrative personnels and experts. Before conducting an analysis, the questionnaire was written based on the preceding research analysis to reconfirm the variables needed for the research. Then the survey was conducted to residents. The result showed that age, educational background, career, residence period, and the community influence in residents likeliness to participate. The result implies that there is a necessity to drive their participation by forming communities such as an urban regeneration college to promote the urban regeneration projects that involve residents.
