영문 초록

This study aims to analyze and compare with the accident severity of bicycle and motorcycle in Cheongju. Accident severity of bicycle and motorcycle are determined to differ depending on the type of accident involved. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it is tested that there are differences in the severity of bicycle accidents by accident party, but there are no difference in that of motorcycles. Second, the intersection type, road type, accident time, and the age of injured driver are adopted as the common variables in the model of the accident vehicle. Finally, the accident time, the age of injured driver are adopted as the common variables in the model of accident victims. Based on the research, it is expected that it will be able to utilize as a basic material for establishing improvement planning to reducer bicycle and motorcycle accidents.
