영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a new value chain model for the 6th industrialization of Korea Horse Industry. Korean government consider the horse industry as one of new source of incomes of agro-livestock industry. Especially, the government trying to approach to that with the view of the 6th industrialization combining the health food, traditional tourism, leisure, sport, culture, and healing industry. However, there is not a general framework to support the decisions for the long-term policies. In this study, therefore, we have proposed a value chain model for the activation of Korean horse industry. We compared core value-adding activities of the horse industries of advanced countries and the principle policies of South Korea, and presented a new value chain model.
