국문 초록

이 연구는 학생선수가 운동선수로서 강조되는 승부근성 요소와 청소년기 대인관계 및 사회성 함양을 기르기 위해 필수적인 공감능력과 학교생활 적응의 관계를 교육적 측면에서 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해서 2016년 5월부터 9월까지 수도권의 축구부와 태권도부 중학교 9곳, 고등학교 10곳의 학생선수를 대상으로 편의표본방식을 통해 404명의 표본을 추출하였다. 설문지는 탐색 요인분석을 이용하여 타당도 검사를 하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, t-검정, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 학생선수의 승부근성과 공감능력 및 학교생활 적응의 차이에서는 성별, 학교급, 종목에 따라 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 학생선수의 승부근성은 공감능력과 학교생활 적응에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생선수의 공감능력은 학교생활 적응에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 중ㆍ고등학교 학생선수들의 성, 학교급, 종목은 승부근성 및 공감능력, 학교생활 적응의 차이를 나타내는 데 부분적으로 관여하였다. 승부근성을 통해 공감능력과 학교생활 적응을 예측할 수 있으며, 공감능력도 학교생활 적응을 예측할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 학생선수나 지도자에게 청소년 시기의 올바른 학교생활과 스포츠 활동에 방향을 제시하고, 나아가 학생선수 제도 발전에 유용한 기초자료를 제공하는 계기가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed to identify the correlation between tenacity, empathic ability, and school life adaption in educational aspects; tenacity that is an important element for student athletes, empathic ability that is needed to improve social relationship, and their school life adaption. For this study, 404 student athletes of soccer teams and taekwondo teams were randomly sampled from 9 middle schools and 10 high schools located in capital area from May to September in 2016. To ensure validity of the survey, test validity has been conducted through exploratory factor analysis. Frequency analysis, t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis have been carried out with collected questionnaires through SPSS 21 statistic program. The following results were obtained. First, when the differences in their tenacity, empathic ability, and school life adaption were verified depending on their demographic characteristics. The variables that varied depending on their gender, level of school, and a sport. Second, it has been shown that student athletes tenacity has partially influenced empathic ability and their school life adaption. Third, empathic ability of student athletes has partly affected school life adaption. In conclusion, gender, level of school, and a sport of middle and high school student athletes have involved in the differences of tenacity, empathic ability and school life adaption. This study demonstrates that student athletes empathic ability and school life adaption can be predicted by their tenacity. School life adaption can also be predicted by student athletes empathic ability. The result of this study can lead desirable directions of school life and sports activities to student athletes and their leaders. Furthermore, it can be useful information for the improvement of student athletes system.
