메타시의 문학 교육적 활용 방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 글은 메타시의 개념과 특징을 살피고, 이를 바탕으로 메타시를 문학 교육적으로 유의미하게 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색할 것을 목적으로 한다. 메타시는 자신이나 타인의 시, 시인론, 시론 등에 관한 성찰을 대상으로 하고, 그러한 성찰이 의미나 미학의 핵심을 이루는 시를 말한다. 그것은 무엇보다 시에 관한 창작 주체의 성찰 이 실천 되는 양식이라는 점에서 특징적이고, 시 읽기와 시 쓰기가 결합된 복합장르의 속성을 가지며, 시에 관한 다양한 측면을 집약적으로 살필 수 있는 자료가 된다. 이러한 특징을 갖는 메타시를 문학 교육에 적용하는 일은 크게 메타시 쓰기의 과정에 주목하는 방안 과 메타시를 교육 자료로 활용하는 방안 으로 나누어 생각해 볼 수 있다. 먼저 메타시 쓰기 과정에 주목하는 방안을 통해 교수자는 시에 대한 학습자의 이해와 태도 등을 총체적으로 진단할 수 있고, 학습자는 자신이 시와 관련되어 알게 되거나 느낀 점을 시적 언어로 실천할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 된다. 한편 메타시를 문학 교육 자료로 활용하는 방안은 메타시 감상을 시론과 시인론에 관한 학습과 연결함으로써 개별 작품과 문학사를 유기적으로 결합시키는 학습 내용을 구성할 수 있고, 시와 삶의 밀접한 관계에 대하여 교육할 수 있게 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to explore the concept and characteristics of meta-poetry and to find a way to utilize meta-poetry in literary educational way. Meta poetry can be defined as a poetry that reflects on oneself or others poetry is the core of meaning or aesthetics. This meta-poetry is characteristic in that poet s reflection on poetry is practiced. In addition, it has the characteristics of a complex genre that combines poetry reading and poetry writing, and is an intensive look at various aspects of poetry. The application of meta-poetry to literary education can be divided into a method to pay attention to the process of meta-poetry writing and a method to utilize meta-poetry as educational material . First, the teacher can make a comprehensive diagnosis of the learner s understanding and attitude about poetry through the method of paying attention to the meta - poetic writing process, and the learner has an opportunity to practice what he or she perceives in the poetic language. On the other hand, the way to use meta-poetry as literary education materials is to connect the appreciation of meta-poetry with learning about poetics. By doing this, it is possible to construct learning contents that organically combine individual works and literary history, and to create opportunities to educate the poet about the close relation of life.
