잠재집단분석방법을 통한 공과대학 학생들의 직업가치관 유형탐색

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 학습자중심접근으로 공과대학생들의 직업가치관에 따라 분류되는 잠재집단을 탐색하는 것이다. 또한 이 연구에서는 학생들의 공학인증 프로그램 선택여부, 성별, 학년을 바탕으로 각 잠재집단의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 이 연구 에서는 잠재계층분석을 사용하여 2076명의 공과대학생들의 다양한 가치관 패턴을 나타내는 최적의 집단을 규명하였다. 연구 결과 4개의 직업가치관 잠재집단이 규명 되었다. 집단 1은 소극적 안정지향형, 집단 2는 창의적 도전형, 집단 3은 보수적 지위 추구형, 집단 4는 발전적 리더형이었다. 공학교육인증 프로그램 선택여부와 성별은 잠재집단 분포와 유의미한 관계가 있었다. 공학교육인증제를 선택한 학생과 남학생은 집단2와 집단4에 상대적으로 더 많이 소속되며 도전적인 직업가치관을 나타내고 있었다. 반면 학년에 따른 잠재집단 분포는 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 공과대학생 대상의 학습자 중심 진로교육에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the underlying latent classes of engineering students’ career value orientation through learner-centered approach. Also we identify characteristics of each latent classes based on students’ engineering accreditation program experience, gender, academic year. 2076 engineering students participated in this study. Latent class analysis was conducted to identify the latent classes which best represent distinct career value patterns. As the result of latent class analysis, four latent classes were identified. Class 1 (30%) is passive safety oriented type, class 2 (34.6%) is creative challenge type, class 3 (22.7%) conservative social status type, class 4 (12.7%) developmental leader type. Engineering education accreditation program experience and gender has significant effect on membership in career value groups. In group 2 and group 4 which characterized by challenge value, there were more students and boys who completed engineering education accreditation program. On the other hand, there was no significant relationship between academic year and career value class. Based on the these results, learner centered career education in engineering college were discussed.
