영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop the instructional materials for elementary school discretional activities. The instructional materials used in this study were composed making a sock-doll, natural dying a handkerchief, making a logo t-shirt, making an article of ribbon, making an article of beads, and making a fortune purse. For being reasonable, 10 professors and 20 teachers were chosen. About developed instructional materials, they were good for children s interest and satisfaction and developing student s creativity. 31 1st grade students(15 boys and 16 girls) of an elementary school which is located in Kyung-gi province were selected as the respondent for this study to analyze the interest and satisfaction of instructional materials. The results obtained from this study were as follows : 1. It was shown the most interest was making an article of beads and next was making a logo t-shirt. 2. It was shown the most satisfaction was making an article of beads and next was making a logo t-shirt. Therefore, the developed materials are beneficial for 1st~3rd grade students in discretion activities to increase interest and satisfaction, develop student s creativity, increase the understanding practical arts.
