유아교육기관 유아문화생활모습과 활성화방안에 대한 교원 및 예술전문가 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아문화생활모습과 활성화방안을 알아보는데 목적이 있으며, 활성화 방안을 제시한다는 점에서 의의를 가질 수 있다. 이를 위해 문화예술전문가 2명, 사립유치원 원장 1명, 유치원교사 9명, 국 공립어린이집 교사 2명 등 총 14명에게 집단 및 개별면담을 실시하였으며 유치원교사 319명 대상으로 유아문화생활 활성화방안에 관한 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 유아교육기관 유아문화생활모습 은 유아교육기관에서 문화시설 이용, 유아교육기관 외에서 접하는 문화생활영향, 교사의 문화생활경험 및 선호도와의 관계, 유아문화생활과 유아발달과의 관계 등으로 제시하였다. 둘째, 유아문화생활 활성화 를 위해서 필요한 시설은 어린이 박물관이 가장 높았으며, 유아들이 직접 체험할 수 있는 전용공간을 필요로 하고 있었다. 문화예술교육사 파견에 대한 필요성에 대한 인식을 알아본 결과 모른다는 의견이 대부분이었으며, 문화예술사 파견은 유아의 문화예술 교육에 도움이 될 것이라는 응답이 높았다. 문화예술사의 예술가로서의 전문성과 유아의 발달특성을 반영하여 교육하는 교육자로서의 요건을 갖추어야한다고 하였다. 교사의 유아문화생활에 대한 교사재교육이 필요하다고 보았다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 유아문화생활 활성화를 위한 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 문화생활 내실화와 만족도 제고를 위한 방안이 모색되어져야 한다. 둘째, 유아문화에 대한 교사들의 민감성 강화를 위한 교육이 필요하다. 셋째, 유아교육기관의 결정권자와 부모를 대상으로 문화에 대한 올바른 인식을 함양할 수 있는 교육이 제공되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate figure and activation of young children’s cultural life. The subjects of this study were 319 kindergarten teachers registered in Ansan. Fourteen participants including 9 kindergarten teachers and 5 professionals in arts, musics, and child care were interviewed. These results were as followed. First, the figure of young children’s cultural life at early childhood setting was the use lf cultural facility and influence of cultural life excluded from early childhood setting, teachers’ cultural experience and preferences, the relationship between cultural life and child development. Second, museum for young children was the most needed facility because children themselves could experience in there. Most kindergarten teachers did not know that cultural artist were sent out to kindergarten for the purpose of culture and art education. They answered that cultural artist would be helpful for cultural art education. Third, they answered that the most need related to young children’s cultural life was to develop diverse programs and cultural art contents in cultural facility. Based on these research results, activation plans for young children’s cultural life were as followed. First, substantial planning of young children’s cultural life should be developed. Second, it is required the reeducation program related to culture and art sensitivity for kindergarten teachers. Third, kindergarten decision makers and parents should be provided education regarding the cultural art enjoyment and education.
