분리불안 5세 어린이의 어머니 상담사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 모-녀관계에서 분리불안으로 모와 떨어지지 않으려는 문제로 상담을 하게 된 5세 어린이의 사례이다. 분리불안장애가 있는 아동과 모간의 건강한 애착형성 및 관계 개선을 위하여 상담과 놀이를 통하여 연구자가 불안을 유발하는 가족 내에서 아동에게 불안을 주는 요인이 무엇인지 알아내기 위해 가족 내의 역동성, 모-녀간의 관계양상을 파악하고자 하는 사례연구이다. 아동이 태어나서 모와 신뢰로 애착관계를 맺지 못하여 불안이 높아지고 분리되는 것이 어려우며 더 나가서 신체적 증상 및 유치원 등교 거부가 나타났다. 이에 연구자는 아동에게 신뢰로운 인간관계를 경험하게 하는 놀이치료를 실시하였 고 모-녀간의 건강한 애착형성 및 관계 개선이 되도록 모와 상담을 병행하였다. 상담결과 모는 위로와 정서적 지지를 통하여 모는 통찰이 생기고 모와 아동의 관계가 나아진 것을 통하여 아이와 교류하는 방법을 알아갔다. 아동은 놀이치료를 통하여 자신의 감정을 표출하는 방법을 알았으며, 유치원에서도 적응이 되면서 친구도 생겼으며, 아이들과 활발하게 어울려 놀고 자신감도 생겼다. 이러한 연구결과는 분리불안 장애 아동을 이해하고 이러한 장애를 가지고 있는 아동을 위한 가족개입을 통한 상담사례관리는 아동복지실천의 유용한 도구가 될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

This study is about a case of a five-year-old child with separation anxiety disorder having an issue of separation from her mother in the mother-daughter relationship. This is a case study to identify the family dynamics and aspect of the mother-daughter relationship. The researcher aimed to figure out the elements that caused anxiety of the child within the family through counselling and play therapy so that the child can build a healthy attachment and improve the relationship with her mother. The child became more anxious and had difficulties in separation due to the failure of bonding with her mother, and furthermore, had physical symptoms and denied to go to the kindergarten. Therefore, the researcher conducted play therapy where the child can experience reliable human relations and provided counselling services to the mother for forming a healthy attachment and improving the mother-daughter relationship. As a result of the Counselling sessions, the mother gained insights from comforts and emotional supports and learned how to communicate with the child by improving the relationship with her daughter. The child learned how to express her feelings through play therapy. She made friends, actively played with them and gained confidence as she adapted to the kindergarten. The research findings indicate that understanding children with separation anxiety disorder and counselling case management through family intervention for children with such a disorder can become a useful tool for the practice of child welfare.
