영아부모 양육지원 방안 모색을 위한 부모역량 및 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 영아부모의 역량과 양육에 대한 요구 내용을 알아봄으로써 영아 부모에 대한 양육지원 방향과 방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 영아부모 190명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 영아부모의 역량을 인식과 실행으로 구분해 보면, ‘실행’보다 ‘인식’역량이 높게 나타났으며, 영역별 역량에서는 ‘생활지도・권리존중’역량이 가장 높았고, ‘성장’역량이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 영아부모의 역량을 부모의 배경별 변인으로 살펴보면 학력이 높을수록, 가구의 소득이 높을수록 부모의 역량이 높게 나타났다. 영아부모들은 자녀양육프로그램에 대해 자녀양육방법이나 그와 관련된 부모교육이라는 인식이 가장 높았으며 자녀양육지원 프로그램에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었다.이러한 결과를 바탕으로 영아부모 역량 강화를 위한 양육지원 방안은 성장 역량을 높이는 차원에서 단편적인 지식과 기술보다는 영아부모 스스로 역량을 강화해 나갈 수 있는 중장기적인 프로그램의 개발과 지원 방안의 모색이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand parental capacity within the jurisdiction and collect fundamental data on ways of parenting support in order to seek ways of child care support. For the purpose of this study, research contents are as follows: 1) the subjects of this study are 190 parents of young child under 2 age in Gyeonggi-do. 2) The research method is a questionnaire which is designed with questions in ‘self-checklist for assessing parental capacity for children’s happiness(Jang, Lee, Yun, & Kim, 2103)’ modified and revised. 3) The number of the questions is 62 with LIKERT-5 point scale. Results of this study are as follows; first, as far as overall parental capacity is concerned, the total score of parental capacity was 3.66. Capacities considered by characteristics, awareness capacity was higher than performance capacity. Considering parental capacity of early children’s parents by fields, ‘guidance in life’ was found as the highest figure at 3.76, child development at 3.74, parent-infant interaction and emotional support at 3.68, child care at 3.65 and growth capability at 3.48. Secondly, when it comes to parental capacity of early childhood children’s parents according to their backgrounds, the higher the level of parents’ education was, the higher parental capacity of early children was assessed. By the level of household income, it was shown that parents whose monthly household income was more than 5million won recorded the highest parental capacity. It suggests that plans are required so that parents can put awareness capacity into practice despite the fact that it is important to support parental capacity in a knowledgeable way. Parental capacity derives from parents’ mental attitude for the children’s happiness and growth. Accordingly, it is necessary to fully support parents to establish the right values and views on children
