국문 초록

小倉進平은 일제강점기에 한국어 연구를 수행한 일본인이다. 그는 동경제대에서 언어학의 학문적 기초를 쌓고, 조선총독부 관리로 부임하여 본격적으로 한국어를 배우고 한국어에 관한 기초 자료를 조사하고 수집하 였으며, 경성제대 및 동경제대 교수로서 그 축적된 기초 자료를 연구･정리 하였다. 小倉進平은 조선에 머무는 동안 조선 전적을 다수 수집하였으며 일본으로 귀국할 때 대부분 가지고 갔다. 그 전적들 가운데 대다수가 현재 東京大 學 文學部의 漢籍室에 보관되어 있으며, 현전하는 책들을 통해 그 면모를알 수 있다. 본고에서는 小倉進平의 생애와 학문을 간단히 살펴보고, <小 倉文庫>의 朝鮮 典籍들을 語學 資料 중심으로 소개하였다. 그가 수집한 전적들은 한국어문학의 역사적 연구와 한국어 교육의 역사적 연구에 매우 중요한 자료로서 이용될 수 있다. 또한 어문학 관련 자료가 아닌 국제관계 자료의 필사본을 통해 근대 시기의 국제 정세를 파악할 수 있는 자료를 확보할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Ogura Simpei is a Japanese who carried out the research on the Korean language during the period of Japanese occupation. He built up academic basics of linguistics at the Imperial University of Tokyo, learned Korean in earnest after starting for a new post as an official of the Japanese Government General of Korea, and collected basic materials on Korean; in addition, he researched and arranged the accumulated basic data as a professor at Keiji Imperial University and the Imperial University of Tokyo. During his stay in Joseon, Ogura Simpei collected Joseon books in great numbers, and took most of them with him when he returned to Japan. A large proportion of the books are currently housed in the Chinese books room of the Literature Department at the University of Tokyo, and one can see the general aspects through the books which have been handed down to the present. This paper briefly looked at Ogura Simpei’s life and learning, and introduced Joseon books in with focus on language data. The books collected by Ogura are useful as very important data for historical research on Korean literature and Korean education.Also, it’s possible to secure data that make it possible to grasp the international situation during the early modern times through the manuscript of international relations materials other than ones related to language and literature.
