국문 초록

月沙 李廷龜(1564~1635)의 가계는 아들 白洲 李明漢(1595~1645) 손자 靑湖 李一相(1612~1666)까지 3대 대제학이라는 명성을 얻었다. 증손자인 鳴巖 李海朝(1660~1711) 역시 문명을 떨쳤다. 월사에서 백주, 다시 청호 그리고 명암으로 이어지는 가계구도에서 이들의 문학은 그 전통이 충실히 전승되고 있으며, 아울러 유사한 경향성을 띠고 있다는 점은 주목을 요한다. 월사·백주·청호·명암이 지닌 천부적인 자질은 그들의 문학적 표출이나 경향에 있어 상당한 연관성이 있다. 그들은 세밀한 단련을 통한 시구의 선택보다 감성을 기반으로 한 자연스러운 표출에 중점을 두었으며 시에 구점과 구호가 많은 것은 그러한 일례이다. 따라서 월사가계의 문학은 당풍이라는 평가를 많이 받는다. 월사는 豪放·飄逸 백주는 豪逸·豪放·淸切·淸爽, 청호는 橫逸·淸致·遒俊淸新, 명암은 雄邁絶塵이라는 평을 받았다. 이러한 평가들은 다소 표현의 차이가 있지만 유사하며, 이 유사성은 영향에서 비롯되었다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 월사 가계는 선대의 시상이나 느낌, 시구 등을 적절히 활용하면서 자신의 시적 완성도를 높였다. 이러한 활용은 표절이라기보다 오마주(hommage)의 성격을 띠고 있으며 그 의도는 선대와의 공감과 소통에 방점이 있다고 할 것이다. 당대 문단의 거두였던 농암과 삼연의 영향을 받았던 명암의 문학은 시적 표출에 심도의 차이는 있으나, 유사한 가계의 시풍이 면면히 이어지고 있음이 드러난다. 또한 이들의 문학은 그 뒤로 진암 이천보까지 지속적으로 이어져 가계의 문학 전승이 지닌 면모를 여실히 보여주고 있다. 이정구가계의 문학과 그 경향은 주로 시대적 동인이나 교유의 측면에서 문학적 영향관계를 구명하는기존 연구와 달리, 가계문학의 전승이라는 측면에서의 연구가 필요함을 보여주는 좋은 사례이다.

영문 초록

The family of Wolsa Lee, Jung-ku(1564~1635) obtained the fame of 3-generation daejehak from his son Baekju Lee, Myung-han(1595~164 5) to grandson Chungho Lee, Il-sang(1612~1666). His great-grandson Myungam Lee, Hye-ju( 1660~1711) was also famous. In the family org anization, Wolsa, Baekju, Chungho and Myungam, their literature trans mits literary tradition faithfully and it should be focused that they have similar tendency. The nature talents of Wolsa·Baekju·Chungho·Myungam is greatly related to their literary expression or tendency. They showed lots of natural expressions based on emotion rather than selection of poetic verses by delicate training and one of the examples is lots of verse points and verse chants. So, the literature of Wolsa family is evaluated as the party spirit in many cases. Wolsa is evaluated as hobang(豪放)·pyoil(飄逸), Baekju is evaluate d as Hoil (豪逸)·Hobang(豪放)·Chungjul(淸切)·Chungsang(淸爽), Chungho is evaluated as Hoengil(橫逸)·Chungchi(淸致)·Jusunchung sin(遒俊淸新) and Myungam is evaluated as Woongmaejuljin(雄邁絶塵). Those evaluations are similar in spite of the expressive differences and the similarities are surely from the effects. The family of Wolsa used poetic concept, feeling, poetic phrase, etc. of the previous generations properly and enhanced his own completion of poetry. The utilization has the characteristics of hommage rather than plagiarism and the intention has in sympathy or communication with the previous generations. The literature of Myungam effected by Nongam and Samyun who was a leader of the literary circles in the period showed similar poetic mood of the family ceaselessly although there were differences of depth in poetic expression. In addition, their literature was transmitted to Jinam Lee, Chun-bo continuously and shows the aspects of family literary transmission well. The literature and tendency of Lee, Jung-gu family is a good example that it s necessary to study from an angle of family literary transmission, unlike existing studies verifying literary effects and relations mainly from angles of periodical circles or associations.
