국문 초록

파격적인 사건을 다룬<첫날밤에 아이 낳은 신부> 유형은 지금까지 신랑을 중심으로 그가 보여준 포용력(德)에 논의의 중심이었다. 유형의 사회적 의미를 밝힌다는 측면에서 의미가 있으나, 서사적인 차원에서 이야기 자체가 갖고 있는 의미를 밝히기에는 부족하다고 생각하여 본고는 전체 서사를 사건 전개순서에 따라 재구성해서 살펴보았다. 그결과 이 유형은 아이를 서사의 주체로 하는 것임을 알았다. 이에 따라 아이의 생애를 그 과정에 따라 살펴서 서사적 의미를 밝히고자 하였다. 아이는 달빛, 물 등과 관련을 맺고 신이하게 잉태된다. 그리고 태어나면서 겪는 죽음의 위기를 신랑(아버지)의 도움으로 벗어나고, 뛰어난 능력을 보이며 성장한다. 그리고 그 능력으로 인하여 주변 사람들과 적대적인 관계가 형성되고, 자신의 탄생과 관련한 비밀을 알게 된다. 이 일을 계기로 집을 떠나 승려가 되고, 결국은 초월적인 존재로 전환되고 있다. 이를 공간적으로 보면 초월계-인간계-초월계로 이어지는 일련의 과정을 경험하는 것이다. 이를 통해 인성과 신성이 결합된 존재가 인성을 벗고 신성을 회복하고 있으며, 결국 신성회복을 이룸으로써 근원적인 아버지에게 돌아가는 이야기로 해석할 수 있었다. 이러한 삶의 과정은 신성영웅이 보여준 것과 유사하였다. 따라서 첫날 밤에 태어난 아이의 삶은 영웅의 삶으로 이해할 수 있고, 이 유형의 서사적 의미를 영웅의 성장담으로 이해할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

type started with unprecedented situation; a bride gave a birth to baby at the wedding night. So when we discuss about the meaning of this type, our discussion was focused on embracement or virtue of a bridegroom. According this, we can understand the social meaning of this type. But its not enough to entirely understand the narrative meaning. So I rearranged the sequance of episode in order of time. As result, the main character of this type is a boy who was born in wedding night and follow his life, I try to understand narrative meanings. The Boy was get pregnanted by extraordinary way which was connected with Moon, Water or other natural things. when he was born, he met a dangerous situation to death. But he was saved by the bridegroom(father) and glow. He became 15 years old, and recognize that the father was not his real father. Take this opportunity, he left the home and became a monk. Finally, he became a supernatural being. When we view it from spatial aspect, the boy goes through a series of process which connected to transcendental world-human world-transcendental world. And the spaces means growth process of the boy. His life can be understood as the process of conversion which from humanity to divinity. i.e. when he was born, humanity and divinity was mixed in his self. according to his life in this world, he get rid of humanity and recover divinity. As conclusion, narrative meaning of this type is heroic growth story which become a divinity and return his original father.
