보건분야 전공학생들이 인식하는 국제의료관광코디네이터 국가자격 시험에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 2013년도 시행 중인 국제의료관광코디네이터 국가자격 시험에 대해 보건분야 전공대학생 105명을 대상으로 인식을 조사하고 이 시험제도의 활성화 방안을 마련하고자 실시하였다. 연구결과 본 국가자격 시험에 대한 인식은 5점 만점에 3.78점, 시험 운영방법에 대한 인식은 3.77점, 출제과목의 필요성은 4.03점 이었다. 그러나 전공자들의 기대치에 비해 본 국가자격 취득자에 대한 업계의 대우 및 필요성이 낮으므로 본 시험제도가 활성화되려면 교육의 질적 수준 향상을 통해 업계의 요구가 증가되도록 할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 보건분야와 관광분야 전공학과 간 융복합 교과과정 개설을 제언한다. 아울러 본 국가자격시험의 전문성 확보에 가장 필요하다고 확인된 과목에 대한 시험비중을 조정하고 본 자격증 취득자에 대한 의무고용제의 검토를 통해 국제의료관광코디네이터 국가자격시험의 활성화를 도모할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this study we surveyed the recognition the national qualification examination for international medical tour coordinator which is being conducted in 2013 toward 105 students majoring in Healthcare, and conducted to come up with measures to revitalize the examination system. The results of this study showed that the recognition on the national qualification examination was 3.78/5, the recognition on the operation method for the examination was 3.77/5, and the necessity for examination subjects was 4.03/5. However those who have acquired this international certificate are not treated appropriately in the industry and the acquisition of the certificate does not seem to be really necessary, unlike expectation of students whose majors are Healthcare. In order for the examination system to be revitalized, it is required for the industry to increase requirements through enhancing the standard of education. To achieve it, I suggest offering a convergence curriculum, Healthcare and Tourism. Moreover it is required to give much importance to subjects which are confirmed to be most needed for securing expertise in the national qualification examination. It is expected that further review on mandatory employment quota system concerning those who have acquired this certificate of qualification can contribute to revitalization of the national qualification examination for international medical tour coordinator.
