국문 초록

허신의 설문해자는 중국 언어학사에 있어서, 자형을 분석하고, 자의를 밝히고, 자음을 표명한 최초의 자전이다. 지금까지 학자들에게 가장 영향력이 있는 고전 중의 하나이다. 그러한 이유 중에는 부수법의 창안이라는 업적이 자리하고 있다. 현재 우리가 사용하는 자형분류법에 의한 ‘214부수법’은 허신의 자의분류법에 의한 부수법과 구분된다. 자형의 변화와 검자의 편리성 도모라는 현실적인 원인이 있다. 그와 함께 부수 본연의 의미에서 벗어난 모순도 함께 지니고 있다. ‘214부수법’의 모순을 극복하고 보다 합리적이고 과학적인 대안을 마련하기 위해 부수 본연의 목적에 충실했던 허신의 ‘540부수법’에서 사라진 부수들의 귀속를 추적, 분석하고자 한다. 허신의 540부수 가운데 신화자전을 기준으로 소실된 부수자의 수는 333개이다. 궁극적인 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구의 첫걸음으로 본고에서는 귀속자를 가지지 못한 36개의 부수(‘문일부수’)를 연구대상으로 삼고 그 변화와 귀속을 분석하고, 그 속에서 대안을 위한 원칙을 세워나가고자 한다.

영문 초록

In the history of chinese linguistics, Shuo Wen Jie Zi of Xu Shen is the first Chinese characters Dictionary. This book analyzes the shape of Chinese characters, and reveals the meaning of Chinese characters, and expressed the sounds of Chinese characters. To young scholars so far one of the most influential classics. Among those reasons are the achievements of the initiatives the system of radicals. 'The system of 214 radicals' which we use today is due to the shape classification. In contrast, Xu Shen's 'The system of 540 radicals' classification is based on the meaning of Chinese characters. The first cause of change to 'the system of 214 radicals' is due to the change in shape of Chinese characters, and the second reason is in order to conveniently search Chinese characters. However, At the same time, 'The system of 214 radicals' has also contradicts away from the system of radicals's original purpose. To overcome the contradictions and to raise rational and scientific alternative, I want to track and analyze radicals disappeared from Xu Shen's 'The system of 540 radicals'. Based on the Xin Hua Zi Dian, the number of lost radicals is 333 radicals. In the first step of the study to achieve the ultimate purpose, this paper is a study of 36 radicals without Any Connected Characters in Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Through analyzing the changes and belonging, I want to stand out the principles for the alternative in it.
