국문 초록

天學詩란 명말 청초 중국 고전시가의 형식을 빌려 천주교의 교리와 전례 등에 관련한 내용을 담아낸 시를 이르는 말로, 청나라 초기 중국인 예수회 신부 吳漁山이 처음 사용하였다.오어산은 ‘淸初六大家’의 한 사람으로 화가로서 명성이 높았으며, 지천명의 나이로 ‘聖名之城’이라 불린 마카오의 성 바오로학원에서 예수회 수도자로서의 삶을 시작했던 특이한 인물이다. 三巴集은 성 바오로학원에서 생활하던 오어산이 해항도시 마카오의 자연•인문환경을노래한 澳中雜詠과 새롭게 학습한 기독교의 교리와 전례, 그리고 그가 속했던 예수회의 규율과 성인들을 송찬한 시를 모은 聖學詩 두 부분으로 이루어져 있다. 본문에서는 澳中雜詠에 나타난 천학시와 함께 聖學詩에 수록된 천학시를 교리시, 전례시, 송찬시 세 부분으로 나누어 분석하고 중국고전문학에서 천학시가 갖는 의의와 함께 해양을 통한 동서양 인문학의 교류 양상을 살펴보고자 한다.

영문 초록

Wu Yushan (1632-1718) is one of “Six Masters of the early Qing period”representing the landscape painting circle during the Qing Dynasty. He was one ofintellectuals with fame who constructed his own world even in poetry and musicas well. The mission project in China by the Society of Jesus is closely related tothe relationships of Wu Yushan in 1680 with the ‘contact zone’ Macau wherecultures are exchanged between Europe and Asia.At the age of 50, Wu's life experienced had a dramatic turn. Wu Yushan indeedchose for himself a path of self-denial and total dedication to the new faith andto the new ministry. Wu Yushan received a Catholic name called Simon Xaveriusas he entered the Society of Jesus formally in 1682 and wrote many poems otherthan 80 poems of “Saint Study Poem(聖學詩)” containing his understanding ondoctrines for 3 years in Macau, while praising ancient sagas in the Society ofJesus. He composed many poems reflecting his own preaching career and religiousfeelings, which are collected in an anthology, Sanbaji. The poems that he keptwriting as a priest illustrates exceptional qualities of his tireless dedication, his faith,his joys and the moments of frustration.
