장애학생 대상 진로프로그램의 효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 메타분석 기법을 활용하여 국내 장애학생을 대상으로 한 진로관련 프로그램의 효과를 체계적이고 종합적으로 살펴보고자 함에 있다. 분석을 위하여 국내에서 이루어진 25편의 논문을 최종 선정하고, 진로프로그램의 전체 효과크기, 독립변인 하위유형(진로상담, 진로교육, 진로탐색)과 종속변인 하위유형, 기타변인(학술지 게재여부, 장애유형, 학교급, 중재시간, 대상 수)에 따른 효과 크기를 각각 산출하였다. 연구물을 종합하여 본 결과, 장애학생 대상 진로관련 프로그램의 전체 효과크기는 1.068(p < .05)로 매우 높은 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 독립변인의 하위유형에 따른 효과크기를 알아본 결과, 진로상담 프로그램과 진로교육 프로그램이 진로탐색 프로그램에 비해 높은 효과크기를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 종속변인별 분석결과는 진로의사결정, 진로자기효능감, 진로성숙도 등에서 높은 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기타변인을 살펴보면 게재지가 더 높은 효과를 보였으며, 장애유형은 모두 .80이상의 효과를 나타내 장애유형과 상관없이 정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 장애학생 대상 진로프로그램의 효과에 영향을 미치는 여러 변인을 바탕으로 결과를 제시하였으므로 추후 진로프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study stands on reviewing the effectiveness of career programs for students with disabilities through meta-analysis of studies published in Korea. For this purpose, this study collected and finally selected 25 studies conducted in Korea, and calculated the effect sizes of factors dealt in each study. Those factors include the overall effect sizes for career programs, the effect sizes for sub-type of career programs(career counseling, career education, career exploration), for dependent variables including career decision making, career self-efficacy, career maturity, and etc., and for extra variables including publication type, disability, the level of grade, intervention duration, the number of participants, etc. This study found that the overall effect sizes for career programs for students with disabilities were significant with ES = 1.068(p < 0.05). Also, career counseling and career education variables had higher effect sizes than career exploration. And, for dependent variables, career decision making, career self-efficacy, and career maturity showed high effect sizes, and for extra variables, peer-reviewed journal studies, every disability type showed the effect sizes higher than 0.80. Finally, this study provides the fundamental data which is necessary to develop career programs for students with disabilities by presenting the effect sizes of variables related to the effectiveness of career programs for students with disabilities through meta-analysis.
