액션러닝 활동을 적용한 예비교사의 장애아 부모상담 프로그램 실행연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 예비교사들의 장애아동 부모상담 역량을 강화하기 위하여 이론과 실습을 연계한 액션러닝 프로그램을 장애아 부모교육 수업에 적용하였다. 액션러닝 부모상담 프로그램은 특수교육 현장에서 특수교사나 일반교사가 직면할 수 있는 이슈를 중심으로, 구성원들이 협력하여 해결방안을 도출하는 과정으로 구성하였다. 이를 위해 K대학 사범대학에 재학 중인 예비교사 45명(특수교육과 37명, 기타 8명)을 대상으로 9주간의 이론과 7단계 액션러닝 프로그램을 실행연구 방법으로 실시하였다. 예비교사들은 이 과정에서 현상에 대한 인식, 대상에 대한 이해, 다양한 생활세계 체험, 교사로서의 지평 확장 과정을 거치며 부모 상담에 대한 구체적인 실천적 지식을 구성하였다. 더불어 참여자들은 장애아동 부모에 대한 부모관, 교육관, 부모상담 역량에서 긍정적인 변화를 나타내었다. 이 연구는 예비교사의 장애아동 부모상담 교육에 있어 기존 이론 중심의 교수법에서 탈피하여 학생들의 능동적인 참여로 문제해결중심 교육의 가능성을 열었다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This research applied the action learning program, in which theory is combined with practice, to education classes for the parents of handicapped students to reinforce prospective teachers' capabilities of counseling for the parents of children with disabilities. The action learning parent counseling program is composed of the processes in which the related members in cooperation with one another derive solutions to the issues that special education teachers and general education teachers can face in the special education field. To do this, the 9-week theory classes and the 7-stage action learning program as the action research method were conducted on 45 prospective teachers (37 in special education and 8 in others) of College of Education at K University. These prospective teachers in this process formed concrete practical knowledge on parent counseling while going through the awareness of the phenomena, the understanding of the objects, the experience of diverse living worlds, and the new horizon expansion process as teachers. Also, the participants showed positive changes in the view of parents of children with disabilities, parent counseling capabilities, and the view of education. This research has significance in that, in the education of prospective teachers for counseling for parents of children with disabilities, it broke from the existing theory-centered teaching method and opened the possibility of problem solving-oriented education with the students' active participation.
