국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 급부상하고 있는 컨벤션의 한 형태인 글로벌 대상 포럼의 참가동기가 무엇인가를 알아보고 포럼참가동기가 포럼의 전반적 만족에 미치는 영향과 포럼참가 전반적 만족도가 행동의도로써 차기포럼의 재참가의도와 긍정적 구전 및 추천의도에 미치는 영향관계를 실증분석하였다. 포럼참가동기는 포럼의 명성, 네트워킹, 자기계발, 전문성 확보, 소속집단대표, 개최지 매력도로 구분하였고 이들 동기요인 중 개최지 매력도를 제외하고는 포럼참가의 전반적 만족도에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 포럼참가의 전반적 만족은 재참가의도에 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 포럼 참가비가 기업이나 조직의 지원이 가능한 경우 재참가의도가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 한편 포럼참가에 전반적으로 만족한 사람은 긍정적 구전과 추천의도에는 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This paper analyzes empirical influence of participation motive of forum on participation overall satisfaction and influence of participation satisfaction on next forum participation intent and favorable comments and recommendations. The participation motive is categorized into six sub-categories: reputation of the forum, networking, self-development, professionalism, representative of group, venue attraction. Empirical result shows that the sub-categorical variables except venue attraction have positive influences on overall satisfaction of forum participation. The insignificance of venue attraction may reflect the fact that existing domestic convention sites in Korea are well-developed already meeting international level standards. When participation fees are on companies and organizations re-participation intent. But those participants who are satisfied with the forum are unlikely to show re-participation intent, however those are likely to tell positive word -of mouth and recommendations.
