국문 초록

농촌관광에 대한 수요와 관심의 증가는 농촌관광경영주에게 보다 민첩하게 환경에 대응할 것을 요구하고 있다. 농촌관광의 개발과 발전이 기업가정신의 산물임에도 불구하고, 급속한 환경변화와 정부주도의 기존개발방식은 농촌관광경영주로 하여금 시장의 변화에 보다 민감하게 스스로 적응할 것을 요구하고 있는 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 농촌관광경영주의 기업가 정신에 영향을 미치는 환경적 요인들을 도출하고 이들이 기업가정신에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하여, 농촌관광경영주의 기업가 정신 함양에 도움이 될 수 있는 기업가적 환경의 조성방향을 제시하고 하였다. 분석결과, 농촌관광경영주들이 정부보조와 지원사업, 교육 및 정보제공 활동 등에 의해 영향을 받으며, 이를 통해 혁신성, 위험부담 등의 기업가적 경영활동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 농촌관광의 경영주들이 보다 적극적으로 자신들의 주변에서 사업기회를 찾고 새로운 상품 및 서비스를 개발할 수 있도록 사업환경을 조성해야 할 필요가 있음을 제시하고 있다.

영문 초록

The rapid growth of rural tourism requires prompt responses by the rural communities. Although tourism development of rural areas is a manifestation of entrepreneurship, it is still necessary to create new values consistently for catching up with the changes in the market. From this perspective, this study is focusing on how to encourage the entrepreneurship of rural tourism managers to develop new products and business. Based on the literature, this study argued that an entrepreneurial environment could enhance the entrepreneurship. The results from empirical investigation showed that governmental support and education have great influence on the innovative and risk-taking behavior of managers. Finally, this study suggests that there is a need to make rural tourism managers be more active in scanning their surrounding environment and finding opportunities.
