국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국제 해상여객운송 서비스의 물리적 환경과 서비스 품질을 규명하고, 이들과 이용객의 만족 그리고 만족과 행동의도 간의 인과관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 응답 완결조사에 의해 총290부의 설문지를 회수하였고, 이중 269부를 SPSS와 AMOS를 이용해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 물리적 환경인 시설물 요인과 서비스 품질을 구성하고 있는 대응성과 신뢰성 요인이 이용객의 만족에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이용객 만족은 재이용 및 추천의사를 결정짓?는 중요한 역할을 담당하는 것으로 조사되었다. 이상과 같은 연구결과를 중심으로 본 연구는 의미 있는 학술적, 실용적 시사점을 제공할 수 있었으며, 본 연구의 한계점과 관련하여 향후 연구방향을 제시할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The aims of this study was twofold: (1) to identify the physical environment and service quality of international maritime passenger transportation services, and (2) to examine the causal relationship between two measures of customer satisfaction and their behavioral intentions. A total of 290 respondent-completed questionnaires were collected and only 269 questionnaires were analyzed using the statistical programs of SPSS and AMOS. According to the results of data analyses, the customer satisfaction was directly influenced by the facility of physical environment and responsiveness and reliability of service quality. The study also revealed that the customer satisfaction played an important role in determining repurchase intentions and willingness to recommend. Finally, important implications for academics and practitioners in the market of maritime passenger transportation services were suggested, and future research directions related to the limitations of the study were provided.
