국문 초록

본 연구는 한중일 CAMPUS Asia 사업이 사업목표인 한중일 3국 대학생 간 상호이해 증진 및 동북아시아 공동체 의식을 함양한 차세대 리더 양성이라는 성과를 달성하고 있는지를 참여학생의 교육과정에 대한 인식을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 CAMPUS Asia 시범사업에 참여한 10개 사업단을 통해 중국과 일본에 파견되었던 한국 학생 및 졸업자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여 학생은 한중일을 모두 순회하는 프로그램 또는 일본 대학이 운영하는 교육과정을 높게 평가하는 경향을 보였다. 둘째, CAMPUS Asia 사업의 참여성과 6가지 영역 모두가 사업단의 교육과정이 CAMPUS Asia 사업 및 해당 사업단 주제에 부합할수록 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, CAMPUS Asia 사업 참여학생은 같은 사업단 내 한국학생보다는 사업단 외 현지학생 및 외국인 유학생과 다양하게 교류할수록 참여성과가 높은 것도 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 향후 CAMPUS Asia 본사업을 진행할 때에는 사업 목표와 사업단 주제에 적절하면서도 풍부한 교육과정을 제공할 수 있도록 운영하는데 초점을 맞출 필요가 있다. 이러한 CAMPUS Asia 사업은 일반 교환학생 프로그램에서 기대할 수 있는 참여성과를 도모할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 본 사업만의 특징인 한중일 3국이 참여하고 사업단별로 특정 주제를 중심으로 운영되는데 따른 참여성과도 기대할 수 있다. 더불어 복수학위 취득도 가능하여, 한중일 CAMPUS Asia 사업은 다층･다면적 참여성과를 기대할 수 있는 대학생 국제교류 사업으로 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the CAMPUS Asia Project has achieved its goals of promoting mutual understanding among college students from China, Japan, and Korea, and educating future leaders who share the sense of community in East Asia, focusing on the participants’ perception on its curricula. Data were collected using survey with Korean participants who studied in China and/or Japan through CAMPUS Asia Project. Main findings include: First, those who participated in the programs to study both in China and or Japan or studied in Japan only evaluated the curricula and programs they took positively. Second, as the curricula and programs met the purpose of the CAMPUS Asia Project and the specific theme of each consortia, participants were more likely to show the higher learning outcomes over all six domains. Third, Korean participants showed the higher learning outcomes for all six of them, as they interacted more frequently with local and other international students outside the CAMPUS Asia Project. However, this was not true when they interacted frequently with other Korean students. Therefore, at the next stage of the CAMPUS Asia Project, focus needs to be put on running curricula and programs for the purpose of the Project and the theme of each consortium. In addition, the CAMPUS Asia Project can be evaluated as the program with the multifaced and multilayered effects from participating in it.
