국문 초록

본 연구의 주된 목적은 초등학교 사회과 영역에서 활용 가능한 어휘-선택(vocabulary-matching) CBM을 개발하여 신뢰도와 타당도를 평가하는 것이었다. 본 연구에는 B 광역시의 A 초등학교 재학중인 6학년 학생 70명이 연구의 대상으로 참여하였다. 연구의 분석방법을 살펴보면 먼저 사회과 어휘-선택 CBM의 검사재검사 신뢰도, 동형검사 신뢰도, 준거 타당도를 평가하기 위해서 피어슨 상관계수가 사용되었다. 또한 읽기능력을 사전에 통제한 후 어휘-선택 CBM의 독립적인 예측 변인 유무를 검증하기 위해서 중다 회귀분석방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구 결과에 따르면 사회과 어휘-선택 CBM의 신뢰도와 타당도가 모두 양호하여 측정학적으로 적합한 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 끝으로 교육 및 연구에 대한 제언을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper was to evaluate both reliability and validity of vocabulary- matching CBM(Curriculum-Based Measurement) in social study at elementary school level. A total of 70 sixth-grade students from the B elementary school in the A city participated in this study. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients were calculated to evaluate the alternate-form reliability, test-retest reliability, and criterion validity. Multiple regression analyses were used to examine the effect of vocabulary-matching CBM to the final social tudy exam, after controlling for the effect of reading skills. The result of this study supported that both the reliability and validity of vocabulary-matching CBM were adequate, supporting the evidence of technical adequacy of vocabulary-matching CBM. Finally, Implications on research and practice are discussed.
