유아교실에서의 물감활동 경험의 의미 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아들의 물감활동 경험의 의미를 알아보고자 물감을 가장 자연스러운 상황에서 다채롭고 심도 있게 경험할 수 있는 유아교실의 자유선택활동시간을 통해 유아들이 물감과 어떻게 만나고 교섭하여 의미를 형성하는지, 어떤 경험을 출현시키며 다시 새로운 경험들을 지층화시켜 가는지 그 과정적 의미를 심층적으로 탐구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 자유선택활동시간에 물감활동을 상시적으로 운영하는 유아교육기관의 교실을 선정하여 2014년 5월 10일부터 2014년 7월 10일까지 주1-2회, 총 12회기의 비참여 관찰이 이루어졌고, 교사 및 유아면담, 비디오 녹화자료, 연구자 일지 등의 자료를 질적 연구의 주제 범주에 의거 분석하는 과정을 거쳤다. 연구결과, 하늘반 유아 들은 물감활동을 통해 ‘놀라운 무한한 색 세계의 발견’과 ‘세계와의 즐거운 소통과 관계 맺음’을 경험하였다. 그리고 이 같은 하늘반 유아들의 즐거운 물감활동을 이끄는 힘은 교사의 심미적 체험임을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore experience of young children in Painting on the free-play activity and analyze in depth the process of meaning of young children how to play and they form a meaningful negotiation with paints, which emerged experience go back to layers of new experiences. The subjects in this study were young children in class of age 5 in D kindergarten located in the city of B. Data were collected from 10 weeks of classroom in free-play activity by using non-participating observation, the interviews of teacher and children, VTR records, researcher's journal. The collected data were analyzed the qualitative research by subject categories. The results are as follows: First, painting activities provided an experience to discover the infinite world of color to children. Infants were admired for the incredible world of color, and constructed knowledge of color through this. Second, painting activities provided a wealth of imagination and sensual of fun to infants. It was a fun experience that children are communicating and forming relationships with the world. Third, this forces that led pleasant painting activities of infants turned out to be possible by the active help of the teacher. The results were mainly discussed as follows: Paint activities, first provides an opportunity to improve the aesthetic perception of the early childhood. Second, it is a fun learning process, and third, it was a healing role. And fourth, suggesting the importance of the role of the teacher.
