영문 초록

There is an increasing interest in within-group agreement in organizations, in response to evidence that agreement is predictive of various organizational outcomes of interest. This study is to find out the effect of leadership types of hotel' leader on the LMX(Leader-Member Exchange) and Food & Beverage employee's organizational commitment. The questionnaire was distributed over one month period fromMay 10th to June 10th 2008. Of the 240 distributed questionnaires 203 copies were used in the analysis to give a response rate of 84.5 percent. The results of the study were as follows. Firstly, leadership types of hotel leader had an influence on their LMX and transactional leadership affects their LMX more than transformational leadership. Secondly, transactional leadership exerted a significant negative influence on organizational commitment but transformational leadership did not affect organizational commitment. Finally, it was found that LMX caused by hotel employee increases organizational commitment.
