포화도와 농도 조절기능을 갖는 모바일 색 오버레이

국문 초록

시각적 스트레스의 증상을 완화하거나 제거할 수 있는 모바일 색 오버레이를 구현하였다. 구현된 오버레이는 기존의 필름 색 오버레이에 비하여 농도와 포화도를 조절할 수 있어 색 렌즈를 처방할 때와 동등한 색의 지정과 시각적 편안함을 제공할 수 있다. 필름 색 오버레이를 1개월 이상 사용하고 있는 7명의 학생에게 사용하던 필름 색 오버레이와 같은 색을 선택하여 한국형 윌킨스의 읽기 속도 검사에 모바일 색 오버레이를 적용한 결과, 대부분의 읽기 작업에 필름 오버레이를 사용했던 참가자들은 평균 16.3%의 읽기속도 증가를 보였다. 이 군을 대상으로 개인별로 모바일 색 오버레이의 농도 조절과 포화도 조절기능을 사용하여 색 선택을 한 후의 읽기속도검사에서는 평균 20.7%의 유의미한 읽기속도 증가를 보였다. 개발된 오버레이는 시각적 스트레스를 줄이고, 읽기 속도를 증가시키는데 효과가 있다.

영문 초록

We implemented a mobile colored overlay application to reduce and/or eliminate the symptoms of visual stress. It's color density and color saturation can be controlled, therefore more colors and visual comfort can be supplied to users as same as colored lenses. It can be applied to not only all contents in the device but also external contents such as book using camera mode. We applied it as a tool to 7 Korean middle school students in Korean Wilkins Rate of Reading Test. All participants in the test have used a film overlay for one month more. The participants who used the film overlay for most reading tasks showed highly significant increases in reading speed(averaging 16.3%) with their mobile overlay and the same color. They showed more significant increases in reading speed(averaging 20.7%) with their mobile overlay and the optimum color and saturation. The mobile overlay helps to increase reading speed for people with visual stress.
