한시에 표현된 駕洛國 都城으로서의 金海

국문 초록

김해는 가락국 도성으로서 갖추어야 할 역사와 지리적 조건에 더하여 빼어난 풍광을 갖추었다. 이에 많은 한시 작가들은 김해의 아름다운 풍광과 당대의 정치 사회적 상황에 대해 표현하기도 하였다. 특히 가락국과 하나로 인식된 김해이기에 이곳에서 사라져버린 가락국에 대해 회고하거나, 가락국 사회의 발전에 대해 상상하기도 하였으며, 도성이었던 김해에 대한 자부심을 표현하기도 하였다. 지금까지의 논의는 김해의 풍광, 풍속 등에 대한 것이 대부분이었다. 이에 반해 김해의 전체적인 인상이나, 전통적 상황에 대한 감회를 읊은 시에 대해서는 일부 언급되었을 뿐 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 특히 김해가 가락국의 도성이었음에도 불구하고, 古都로서의 김해에 대한 회고나 당대의 상황에 대한 상상과 자부심을 읊은 시에 대한 논의는 없었다. 본고는 김해에 대한 전통적 인식과 김해를 가락국의 도성으로 定都할 수 있었던 지리적 요건의 의미를 살펴보고, 이곳을 읊은 한시에 표현된 가락국 도성 김해에 대한 회고와, 시인들의 시 속에 그려진 옛 가락국 도성 김해를 상상해보고자 한다. 아울러 도성으로서의 김해에 대한 자부심이 어떻게 표현되고 있는지 고찰해보고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Gimhae as the capital city of Garakguk(駕洛國, "Garak State") was equipped with exquisite scenery as well as historical and geographical conditions of a capital. Numerous authors of Chinese poetry expressed beautiful landscape and contemporary sociopolitical circumstances of Gimhae. In particular, as Gimhae and Garaguk were recognized as one and the same, the poets were reminiscent of the lost state of Garaguk, imagined the society of the kingdom and revealed their pride of Gimhae as the capital of Garaguk. Up to the present, most discussions have been focused on the scenery and customs of Gimhae. On the other hand, the poems depicting general impressions or feelings on traditional conditions of Gimhae have been rarely mentioned. Even though Gimhas was the capital of Garaguk, studies on the poetic works written in reminiscence of Gimhas as an old city or on those singing the imagination and pride of contemporary situations have been scarce. Gimhae was an old city of Garaguk. But as Garaguk was subjugated to the Silla Dynasty early on, Gimhae was not properly recognized as the capital city of a kingdom in comparison with other kingdoms' capitals such as Gyeongju, Gongju, Buyeo, Pyeongyang, Gaeseong and Seoul. In Chinese poems portraying Gimhae, a noticeable tendency to recognize it as an old city was found. That is because the attitude of the authors of Chinese poetry who thought highly of literary citation, the utility of historical lyrics and emotions of reminiscent poems played a great part, and the inspiration that historical remains and relics of Gimhae as an old city gave rise to was deep. This study examines the traditional understanding and geographical conditions of Gimhae as the capital city of Garaguk, and reconstitutes this old Garaguk city of Gimhae revealed in Chinese poems and depicted in the recollection and imagination of poets. In addition, it explicates the pride in their ancestors and this region that the descendants and poets living in Gimhae took as expressed in their poems.
