李集詩에 있어서 孤閒의 정서와 市隱의 추구

국문 초록

본고는 遁村李集(1327~1387)의 시세계에 관철되어 있는 孤閒의 정서와 귀거래 의식 가운데 하나인 市隱을 파악하고 그러한 시세계가 표출된 동인과 그 의미가 무엇인지를 고구한 글이다. 둔촌의 작품은 寄贈詩나 次韻詩로서 牧隱과 圃隱, 陶隱, 惕若齋, 三峯과 주고받은 글이 대부분이다. 이를 자세히 들여다보면 맑거나, 밝고 환한 心象을 찾아보기 어렵다. 반대로 어둡고 우울하며, 고독한 심사를 표출한 시가 많다. 심지어 자괴감마저 읽히는 구절이 많다. 이러한 시세계의 주요한 동인 가운데 하나가 바로 1359년과 1361년 두 차례에 걸친 홍건적의 침입, 1377년과 1379년 등에 걸친 왜구의 침입 등 끊임없는 전쟁이다. 또 대내적으로 辛旽의 월권과 어지러운 국내 정서를 들 수 있는데, 실제 둔촌은 42세에 신돈을 논죄한 일로 화를 입게 된다. 그러자 부친과 함께 경상도 永川에 피신하여 崔元道집에 우거하며 시를 짓는데 당시의 심사가 그의 문집에 고스란히 녹아들어 있다. 한편 1371년(공민왕 20) 겨울, 신돈이 축출되자 둔촌은 개성으로 돌아와 龍首山아래에 기거하며 이름을 '集'으로 고치고 자를 浩然, 호를 遁村으로 삼는다. 실제 둔촌의 詩作은 이때를 기점으로 다작하게 되는데 여기에 고독함과 한적함이라는 정서가 깊이 드러나고 있다. 아울러 고한의 정서는 귀거래 지향과 밀접한 관련을 지니고 있는데, 둔촌시의 한 축을 담당하고 있는 것이 바로 이 부분이다. 귀거래 지향이야 사대부 뿐 아니라 수많은 문인들에게서 나타나는 흔한 내용인데, 둔촌의 귀거래지향은 市隱이라는 독특한 형태를 취하고 있다. 즉 도연명으로부터 시작된 眞隱도 아니며, 다른 사대부들에서 보이는 宦隱의 형태가 아닌 그 중간 형태로 혼란한 대내외적 상황과 아픈 몸, 피폐된 정신 등으로 인한 부득이한 귀거래 지향일 뿐 그 안을 들여다보면 사대부로서의 덕목 가운데 하나인 經世濟民을 추구하는 모습을 보이고 있다.

영문 초록

This thesis written for understanding emotion go-han(solitary reposedness) and si-eun(one of awareness of homecoming), and considering reasons and meanings about process of formation of his poetic world. Almost of his poems exchanged with his companion (Mook-eun, Pyo-Eun, DO-Eun, Chuck Yak jae and Sam-bong) as a form of donating poem or cut-up poem. If you read his poem closely, there is no bright, clear and light imagery. On the other hand, he frequently used dark, gloomy and solitude imagery. Even some sentences contain sense of shame. Some reasons were affect his poetic world. One of them was constant war such as twice red turban invasion(1359~1361) and Japanese raiders invasion(1377~1379). Also Sin-don exceeded King's authority and confused domestic situation in those days could be another reason. Doon-chon met disaster when he was 42 years old because of his ruling of Sin-don. Then he moved to Gyeongsang-do with his father for escaping. They hid Choi won-do's house and Doon-chon wrote poems in his house. So, his mood soaked into his poem naturally at that time. Meanwhile, in 1371(King Gong-min 20th) winter, after Sin-don was ousted, Doon-chon came back to Gaeseong beneath mountain Young-du and changed his name as 'Jip', nom de plume as 'Ho yeon', pen name as 'Doon chon'. Since this time Doon chon in earnest wrote many poem. Solitude and reposedness mood deeply be seen in his poem that time. Go-han closely related with awareness of homecoming oriented, at that fact is one of the most important part which formed Doon chon's poem. Homecoming oriented was very common not only writers but also nobleman, but Doon chon's homecoming oriented has special form like 'Si eun'. Si eun has intermediate form with Do yeon myung's 'Jin eun' and common nobleman's 'Hwan eun'. His homecoming oriented was just unavoidable one, result from confusing inside and outside situation, his weak body and his ruined mental. In reality, we can see his attempt to pursuit one of virtue of nobleman "administrating the state to relieve the people's suffering".
