국문 초록

급증한 세계화와 다문화주의 사회에서 우리는 개인의 수많은 관계들에서 갈등과 다툼과 범죄와 전쟁을 목격한다. 다문화주의 이론과 미술교육이론은 모든 타인 들을 서로 포용하고 받아들이라고 제안한다. 그러나 일상생활에서 ‘나‘와 정말 다른 ‘타인’을 받아들이고 포용하는 실행은 이론처럼 쉽지 않다. 인류에게 협력은 이상적, 도덕적 영역이 아닌, 생존을 위한 기술 이다. 삶을 위한 다문화미술교육은 개인과 타인과의 충돌과 문화와 타문화 간의 충돌에서, 세상을 함께 사는 방법과, 대화와 소통과 협력하는 기술을 구체적으로 가르쳐줌으로써, 다문화사회의 문제들을 근원적으로, 개인부터 해결 할 수 있도록 교육한다. 이 논문은 타 분야 논리들과 현대미술작품을 통해, 개인의 안녕과 사회 정의와 복지와 인류의 긍정적 미래와 역사를 위한 다문화주의와 다문화미술교육은, 현 시대 모든 사람들 에게 적용될 수 있는 세상을 사는 방법, 생존하기 위해 타인과 함께 사는 방법, 대화와 협력하는 기술을 구체적으로 설명한다.

영문 초록

In the globalized, multicultural. technological. and capitalistic society, individuals face the everyday contact and conflicts with others and environment. Multicultural art education insists to accept and embrace all the people who are all different in terms of language, religion, customs, culture. societies, nationalities and family backgrounds, as well as personality. Yet, the theories do not give practical no how how to deal with the other. Are we really able to accept and embrace them the all? Practice is much more difficult than theory itself. We ask the questions "how to deal with the other?" I suggest the individual's practice through various solutions in art and other sectors. Works of art provide a variety of meanings and significances in individual and in the society and contemporary and reveals people's perceptions and beliefs and human condition. This study concluded that by nurturing personal thoughts and practice, resisting the imposed identities and free from affliction with our superiority and comparison with others, we should not repeat the same social issues of ostracizing, bullying, hatred, discrimination, conquest, and colonization. Multicultural art education teach us not to impose our superiority on others subjugating our communication and community. This is a reason why multicultural art education teaches us dialogical skills to live with community which consist of all kinds of people.
