국문 초록

우리나라에서 근대미술교육을 시작한지도 한 세기가 지났다. 그 동안 미술교육은 여러 가지 어려움 속에서도 양적 • 질적으로 꾸준히 성장해 왔다. 본 연구는 미술교육 저서, 학위논문, 학회지， 현장연구논문 등에서 최근 연구동향과 현황 및 특정을 조사 • 분석함으로써 연구 학회, 그리고 교사양성대학을 중심으로 현재 미술교육 연구의 제 문제를 극복하고 새로운 방향 모색을 위한 제안을 목적으로 한다. 향후 연구의 방향은 근대 서구미술교육의 외형적인 형식만을 수용한 것을 성찰하고, 우리가 간과하였던 근대의 비판 정신을 회복해야 한다. 또한 세계의 다양한 미술교육을 비판적으로 검토하면서 우리의 전통미술문화에 깃든 장재적 미술교육 정신과 연계시켜, 우리 미술교육의 정체성을 찾고 정립하는 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다. 현재 미술교육 연구 관련 학회는 한국미술교육학을 정립하는데 중점을 두고 더불어 회원들의 학문적 성장을 돕고, 국가나 사회적으로 미술교육 관련 연구 사업을 수행하면서 미술교육의 위상을 높이는 학회가 되어야 한다. 양성대학은 미술교육의 전문성을 가진 교사와 연구자 양성에 온 힘을 쏟아야 한다. 또한 미술교육과의 교육과정, 교수진 구성 등을 체계적으로 연구하여 보다 바람직한 양성체계를 구축하여야 한다 종합적으로 현재 한국미술교육이 발전하기 위해서는 미술교육에 몸담고 있는 교사, 교수 그리고 연구자들이 우리 미술교육의 실상을 여실 하게 인지 하여야 한다. 따라서, 본 연구자는 미술교육자, 연구자들에게 2013년 현 우리미술교육의 전연모를 알 수 있는 한국 미술교육백서, 작업의 필요성을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Korean modern art education has continued to develop with various difficulties since it started a century ago. This article first investigates the research trends and the present state in Korean art education focused on publications. journals. dissertations. field studies and so on. Secondly. this article suggests a new direction in the present state which has been consisted in research. contributions of the Societies for Korean art education. and higher education for pre-service art teachers. In research. it should be reflected on the superficial acceptance of Western modern art education and the overlooked critical attitude to the modernity. Various areas of art education worldwide should be examined with connection into Korean traditional culture and art education ethos and traits. and Korean art education's identity should be found in our current situation. The Societies for Korean art education should establish the field of Korean art education studies and performs the projects for developing the academic positions nationally and internationally. The universities for pre-service art educators should try to inspire the students to study It should establish more desirable systems of curriculum and academic staff composition. To sum up. what is most important to develop Korean art education research. is that the researchers. professors and teachers should be aware of the real state and problems. It is worth to suggest performing "The Korean Art Education Backseo (A hundred memorandums for Korean art education)" in order to trace back the real state of the past and present Korean art education.
