스토리텔링의 교수ㆍ학습 활동 작용

국문 초록

이 논문에서는 교수ㆍ학습 활동을 더욱 효과적으로 하기 위해서, 교수ㆍ학습 활동에 스토리텔링의 효과를 활용하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 스토리텔링의 원형은 교사가 학생에게 이야기를 해 주는 것이다. 그러나 이런 원형의 스토리텔링을 그대로 교수ㆍ학습 활동으로 활용하는 것은 경직되고 융통성 없는 교수법이다. 수업에서 다채롭고도 창의적인 교수ㆍ학습 활동으로 스토리텔링을 활용하려면, 내러티브를 매우 다양하게 변용하여, 수업 활동 속에 녹여 넣을 수 있어야 한다. 즉 내러티브를 창의적으로 해체하여, 수업 목적에 맞게 내러티브의 여러 요소와 기능을 변용하는 것이 필요하다. 교수ㆍ학습 활동을 위해 내러티브의 다양한 작용 방식을 살려서, 학습활동의 효과를 높여야 하는 것이다. 따라서 수업 상황에서, 수업목표에 맞는 활동을 경험하도록 하는 과정에서 원래의 스토리텔링은 교육적으로 재개념화 된다. 수업 활동으로 전이되는 스토리텔링은 내러티브의 구조와 내용과 요소를 부분적으로 변용한다. 또한 스토리텔링을 교수ㆍ학습 활동으로 녹이고자 할 때는, 내러티브의 기능과 속성과 작용과 과정 등의 필요한 일부를 창의적으로 활용할 수 있어야 한다. 또 내러티브의 화자와 내러티브의 맥락을 변용하여 학습활동으로서의 스토리텔링 효과를 높일 수도 있다. 내러티브를 특정의 스토리텔링으로 실현하는 매체를 변용함으로써 매우 유효한 스토리텔링의 학습활동을 구안할 수도 있다. 이런 것들은 모두 스토리텔링을 재개념화한 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to suggest methods to use the effects of storytelling for a teaching-learning activity for the purpose of making the teaching-learning activity more effective. The prototype of storytelling is that a teacher tells narratives to students. However using this prototyped storytelling for the teaching-learning activity is a rigid and inflexible teaching method If a storytelling is to be used as a colorful and creative teaching-learning activity in class, the narrative should be able to be very variously transformed to be melted into class activities. In other words, the decomposition and transformation of narratives are required. For the teaching-learning activity, narratives should be decomposed and transformed in a various way to enhance the effects of learning activities. Thus in a class situation, the original storytelling is reconceptualized. For the storytelling of class, the constitution, contents, and factors of narratives are partly transformed. In addition, the narratives being melted into the teaching-learning activity can use parts of their own functions, attributes, and processes, etc.. Also the speaker and context of narratives, and the medium for expressing narratives can be transformed for enhancing the effects of learning activities. All of these are the reconceptualized storytellings.
