국문 초록

현재 구 소련 권에는 러시아를 포함하여 약 50만 명의 고려인들이 거주하고 있다. 이 중 과반수 이상이 중앙아시아에 살고 있으며 카자흐스탄에는 약 십만 명의 고려인들이 살고 있다. 잘 알려진 바와 같이 이들은 1937년 연해주에서 중앙아시아 지역으로 강제이주 당한 이들의 후손들이다. 따라서 대다수의 고려인들이 집중적으로 거주하고 있는 이곳에는 초기 이주에 관련된 자료, 소련 시기 고려인들에 관련된 자료와 현재 고려인들이 활동하며 양산해 내고 있는 많은 자료들이 있을 것이라는 점은 누구나 짐작할 수 있을 것이다. 2003년 1월 카자흐스탄 현지에서 이루어진 본 연구에서는 이상의 자료들 이외에도 다른 자료들이 있다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 초기 이주 당시 고려인들이 가지고 온 개인 가문에 대한 기록문서들과 1800년 대 고문서들, 그리고 소련 시기 북한에서 들여온 북한 서적들이 도서관에 다수 소장되어 있었다. 본 연구는 현재 카자흐스탄에 있는 고려인 관련 기록들의 내용과 보존기관 및 보존상의 문제를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 2003년 1월 현지에서 진행되었다. 본 글에는 먼저 카자흐스탄의 어떠한 기관에 어떤 자료들이 소장되어있는지를 밝혔고, 자료의 내용에 따라 세 가지 카테고리로 유형화하였다. 또한, 현지 자료 연람 방법과 자료조사 과정에서 밝혀진 현지 자료들의 보존상의 문제점에 대해 언급하였으며 자료 보존의 본보기가 될 수 있는 성공적인 사례로 고려일보 디지털화에 대한 내용을 대안으로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

With the purpose of revealing the contents, preservation centers and the problems of preservation of records regarding ‘Koryoin’ in Kazakhstan, this study was proceeded in actual place on January of 2003. This article first revealed what materials are in what institutes in Kazakhstan, and concreted the materials into 3 categories according to the contents of the material. In the Pushkin library there were documents of personal family records of early Korean immigrants, old documents of the 1800's, and North Korean books they have brought from North Korea during period of the Soviet Union. Chapter II, which is the body of this paper, covers the history and the institute of document preservation of Kazakhstan. Chapter III covers the concretion to the documents related to the korean studies and the ‘Koryoin' by dividing them into three categories. In chapter IV, we referred about the method of reading the materials and the problems of the preservation of the materials in the area that was revealed during the process of research, and suggested the article in the ‘Koryo ilbo’ about the digitalization as the solution for an effective preservation of the materials. As a conclusion, we try to find the way of preservation of these materials.
