중재반응모형의 적용 가능성 탐색 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 중재반응모형이 국낸의 중학교에도 적용이 가능한지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 중학교에서 기초학습부진학생으로 선정된 학생과 특수학급에 배치된 학생들을 대상으로 교육과정중심 측정인 「기초학습기능수행평가체제: 읽기 검사」를 실시한 후, 그 결과를 가지고 읽기 기초학습부진학생 3명과 읽기 학습장애학생 1명을 선정하였다. 그리고 중재반응모형에서 핵심적으로 적용되는 증거기반의 읽기 기술로 「직접교수(Direct Instruction)원리를 적용한 한글읽기프로그램」을 적용한 후, 읽기 유창성의 진전도를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 읽기 기초학습부진학생들은 ‘반응’을 보이면서 읽기 기초학습부진 수준으로 벗어나거나 정상 수준으로 발전하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 읽기 학습장애 학생은 ‘반응’은 보였지만, 읽기 진전도에서 그 수준이 다른 학생들의 읽기 유창성 수준에 비해 낮으며 그 오류 교정에서 많은 시간이 걸렸다. 따라서 이와 같은 연구 결과는 직접교수법과 교육과정중심측정을 활용한 중재반응모형이 중학교의 읽기기초학습부진학생과 읽기학습장애를 분류할 수 있으며 궁극적으로 학습장애 학생을 진단 및 평가하는 모형으로 적용 가능하다는 것을 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 후속연구에서는 초등학교에서도 중재반응모형을 구체적으로 적용하여 그 가능성을 탐색하는 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study was going to explore response to intervention, and whether or not it can be applied in middle school. For the this purpose, we selected three students who was low achieving readers and one students who was learning disability reader by the Basic Academic Skills of : Reading test. After that, we implemented the Han-geul reading programs of applying Direct Instruction and monitored student's reading ability. As a results, three students who was low achieving reader show good response to the reading program when we compared their data with norms which was about primary third grade level. But one student who was a learning disability reader, even though she showed good response to the reading programs, she couldn't show good response to the reading program when we compared her data with norms which is about primary first grade level. Therefore, we can conclude that response to instruction model which have Direst Instruction and CBM can classify low achieving' students and learning disabilities' student and is apt for identification and evaluation of learning disabilities. Therefore, we hope that many researchers are going to apply response to intervention to the field and also try to study it in primary school.
