‘한글 마춤범 통일안’(1933) 발표에 대한 문인들의 태도와 준용 실태 고찰 - ‘한글’ 지(1934-35)를 중심으로

영문 초록

  This study looks at the authors’ activities and reaction when ‘Hangul Machumbeob Tongiran’(1933) was announced, which has become a monument of the history of Korean.
  At the time, the Tongiran, a draft for unified spelling system, was thought of as ‘the general trend and epoch-making event,’so many people in education, journalism, and religion took the lead to teach and spread it. Although many authors also supported it, due to the limitation of printing press, they could not use it as much as their desire led them to.
  In order to see how authors of the time applied this Tongiran to their works, two of Lee Taejun’s works, who gave Tongiran full support, were selected: ‘Dalbam’ in 1933 and ‘Gamagui’ in 1936. To compare his works to others,’ Lee Hyoseok’s ‘Don’(1933) and ‘San’(1936), which were published at the same year, were also analyzed. As results, it was found out that Lee Taejun’s ‘Dalbam’ reflected Tongiran more thoroughly than any other work. It could also be learned that his another work, ‘Gamagui’ also showed the application of Tongiran to some extents, but this work followed Tongiran less than ‘Dalbam’ because it was written later.
  The reason why we cannot tell how Tongiran was applied by analyzing authors’works only is that we need to consider the printing press and publication of that time. However, judging from the fact that the later works were not improved in terms of application of Tongiran, it can be said that in the literary works, authors’will to follow Tongiran was the biggest factor to reflect Tongiran.
