제시어로 구성된 비계 설정에 의한 창의성 신장 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 제시어로 구성된 비계 설정에 의한 창의성 신장 양상이 성 별, 학년 별로 어떤 차이를 나타내는지 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 실험 대상 아동은 문제를 어떻게 해결할 것인가에 관하여 통찰하고 계획하는 과정을 지원하도록 구안된 새로운 형태의 비계를 제공받았다. 검사 도구로는 Torrance의 창의적 사고력 검사지 중 그림 구성 문제를 사용하였으며, 사전 사후 두 차례의 검사를 실시한 후 그 양상을 통계 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다.
  첫째, 비계 설정에 의한 창의성 신장 양상이 성 별에 따라 차이가 있는지를 알아본 결과, 4가지 하위요소에서 모두 남녀 간 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 둘째, 설정된 비계가 각 학년 별로는 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아본 결과 1학년과 6학년 모두 비계 설정 후에 창의성이 크게 신장되었고 두 학년 간의 창의성 신장 정도의 차이를 비교한 결과 6학년이 유창성, 독창성, 정교성에서 1학년보다 더 높은 신장 정도를 나타내었다. 셋째, 전체 아동의 창의성이 비계가 설정된 경우에 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 정교성 모두에서 크게 신장된 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to analyze the extension of creativity of students in using scaffolding when thinking of insight in problem solving and to investigate on the function of a new type of scaffolding, which is composed of presented words. In this study, the problem solving achievements of students not given the scaffolding were compared with that of the students given the scaffolding. Also, the discrepancies between the extension of creativity of the males and females, and the extension of creativity of first－graade students and sixth grade student, when they carry out picture construction task in the creativity test of Torrence were investigated.
  The results of this study showed that the extension of creativity of the males and females that were given the new type of scaffolding improved on the same scale. There were not any meaningful divergence. However, sixth－grade students were more advanced than first－grade students in terms of fluency, originality, and delicacy in their performance in the picture construction task.
