It is time we should find a new educational idea which can provide us with a comprehensive answer about "What should we educate a person for?" as an essential question. Because nowadays we have had many confusions and conflicts in value problems. Thus we would call our time the era of confusion or crisis in value. We can be willingly to fix this value problem on the educational idea. Because an educational idea have a responsibility in value problem essentially. By a new educational idea, We can solve the problem of value which has a confusion and crisis. In this viewpoint, We can induce an educational idea in a Oriental traditional thought - the thought of I-ching. The main idea of I-ching is the relationship between man and nature. In the examination of the process of this study. We know that the nature of the thought of I-ching has a characteristic in "Live nature". Thus We can say that the thought of I-ching's main topic idea is about the essential of nature-especially live nature. According to these questions and definitions in I-Ching, we can describe the meaning of education as "Education is educating from a nature man to a natural man." In the basic thought of I-ching, man and nature are not two but one. It is based on the organic view of the world. In other words, man and nature, society, ideology, and education are in the organic unity. The problem-solving way in the view of live nature in the thought of I-ching is the method of original which can solve the problem of survival by the understanding of relationship between the law of nature and the law of man. This way of human understandings is based on the total and organic view of the world. It is aimed to have a thoughtful consideration and careful concern for other people and things. In an educational idea, this way of thinking and problem-solving should be applied to the education which one now being faced by the crisis of value. Thus an educational idea on the view of live nature in the thought of I-Ching is a very meaningful and valuable.
