국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 진로·취업 프로그램의 효과를 종합하는 메타분석을 수행함으로써 향후 진로·취업 프로그램 개발 및 운영 시 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고, 고려해야 할 사항을 논의하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2017년부터 2024년 5월까지 발표된 총 26편(k=91)의 논문을 기준에 따라 선별하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 대학의 진로·취업 프로그램의 전체 평균효과크기는 0.627로 중간 효과크기를 보였다. 둘째, 조절변인에 대한 효과크기를 비교한 결과, 프로그램 유형에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었고, 멘토링·특강과 종합 프로그램의 효과크기가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 종속변인에 대한 효과크기를 비교한 결과 진로결정자기효능감과 진로준비역량의 효과크기가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 학생들의 진로개발을 위해서는 멘토(교수·선배 등)의 역할이 중요하며, 대학생의 진로 발달 수준을 고려한 체계적이고 종합적인 프로그램이 설계될 필요성이 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 본 연구결과는 학생의 진로 및 취업과 관련하여 대학의 보다 적극적인 지원과 다양한 내용의 프로그램 제공이 필요함을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study provided basic data for the development and implementation of future career and employment programs, and discussed relavnet considerations by performing a meta-analysis synthesizing the effectiveness of college career and employment programs. To this end, 26 papers (k=91) published from 2017 to May 2024 were selected according to criteria. The analysis results are as follows: First, the overall average effect size was 0.627, indicating a medium effect size. Second, a comparison of effect sizes by moderator variables revealed statistically significant differences in program types, with mentoring/lectures, and overall programs showing the largest effect sizes. Third, a comparison of effect sizes by dependent variables showed that career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation competency had the largest effect sizes. The findings of this study confirmed the importance of the role of mentors (professors, seniors, etc.) for the career development of students, and the need to design a systematic and comprehensive program that considers the level of career development of college students. In addition, the results of this study highlighted the need for more active support from universities and the provision of programs with various contents in relation to the career and employment of students.
