스크래치를 활용한 초등학교 맞춤형 음악창작 프로그램의 효과성 검증

국문 초록

초등학교의 음악 수업은 즐거움을 통한 음악성 함양을 목표로 한다. ‘즐거움’이란 교사의 치밀한 계획 안에 즐겁게 참여하는 학생을 뜻하는 것으로, 가르침과 배움의 균형과 수업에서 교사 역할의 중요성이 함께 포함되어 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 스크래치 교육용 블록형 프로그래밍 언어를 가지고 맞춤형 창작 프로그램을 기반으로 효과성을 검증하고자 한다. 연구 결과 첫째, 학년별 개별 학생 사전-사후 점수는 4학년은 사후 점수가 상승하고 있으나 6학년은 유창성, 독창성은 상승하나 개방성, 민감성은 다소 하락하고 있다. 둘째, 학년별 종합 사전-사후 점수와 하위 측정 요인별 검사에서 4학년은 종합 검사에서 상승하고 요인별 검사에서도 요인간 차이는 있으나 상승세가 나타난다. 6학년은 종합 검사에서 오히려 소폭 상승하고 측정 요인별 검사는 유창성, 독창성이 상승하고 있다. 마지막 세 번째 학년별 남녀 사전-사후 검사에서 4학년은 측정 요인별 약간의 차이가 있으나 남녀 거의 비슷한 점수대를 보이고 6학년은 유창성, 독창성 모두 여학생이 우수하고 개방성은 같이 하락세를 보인다. 앞으로 다양한 맞춤형 수업 전략을 마련하여 학생의 수준과 학습 속도를 지원하고 수업의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 디지털 매체의 연구가 지속되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The goal of elementary school music curriculum is to enhance musical competence. This study explores the effectiveness of customized composition programs developed from Scratch using block programming language. The results revealed the following. First, regarding pre- and post-scores for students across different grades, fourth graders showed an increase in post-scores. While sixth graders demonstrated improved in fluency and originality, they showed a slight decrease in openness and sensitivity. Second, fourth-graders generally showed an increase in overall pre- and post-scores and individual inspection of each measurement factor. They also improved across various measurement factors, despite variations among these factors. In contrast, sixth graders showed a slight increase in overall scores, with noticeable enhancements in originality and fluency when examined by specific measurement factors. Lastly, in terms of gender differences across different grades in pre- and post-inspections, fourth graders exhibited slight variations by measurement factors, whereas both boys and girls generally showed similar scores. Among sixth graders, girls demonstrated higher levels of originality and fluency but decreased openness. These findings emphasize the importance of developing diverse customized courses tailored to students' academic levels and continuing to explore digital media's potential to enhance classroom effectiveness.
