초등학생 사교육 이용실태에 대한 종단분석

국문 초록

분석하였다. 이를 위하여 한국아동패널 8차~15차(2015~2020) 연도 보호자 질문 자료를 수집하여 SPSS 28.0을 사용하여 기술통계분석을 하였다. 주요 분석결과와 종단적 특성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학생의 사교육 종류별 이용률은 저학년은 체육, 중학년과 고학년은 영어가 가장 높았고 학년증가에 따라 영어, 수학은 증가하고 예체능은 감소하였다. 둘째, 이용기관별 이용시간은 학원이 가장 길었고, 학습지가 가장 짧았으며, 이용만족도는 과외, 방과후교실, 사설기관, 공공기관이 전반적으로 높았다. 이용비용과 이용비용 부담은 학원이 가장 높았다. 셋째, 사교육 종류별 이용기관의 이용률 추이를 분석하여 주이용기관 유형을 학년증가에 따라 지속형, 교차형, 혼돈형으로 유목화할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study conducted a longitudinal analysis to understand the current status and trend of private education use across all grades of elementary school students. To this end, the 8th to 15th (2015-2020) Guardian question data of the Korean Children's Panel were collected and descriptive statistics analysis was conducted using SPSS 28.0. The main analysis results and longitudinal characteristics are as follows. First, the utilization rate of elementary school students by type of private education was the highest in physical education for the lower grades, and English for the middle and upper grades, and English and math increased and arts and sports decreased as grades increased. Second, private institutions, and public institutions had the longest usage time for each institution, the shortest study site, and overall satisfaction with tutoring, after-school classes, private institutions, and public institutions. Academy had the highest cost and cost burden. Third, by analyzing the trend of the utilization rate of institutions using each type of private education, it was possible to nomadize the types of institutions used for main use into continuous, interactive, and chaotic types according to the increase in grade.
