국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 경력컨설팅 역량모델을 개발하고 그 타당도를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 우선 환경 변화에 따른 경력개발의 방향 변화 및 정책 현황을 살펴보고, 경력관리 및 경력개발 분야에서 정의된 역량모델을 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 개인의 경력목표 성취를 지원하는 경력상담 분야와 비교적 최근에 주목받고 있는 경력코칭 분야의 역량모델을 종합적으로 검토함으로써, 경력컨설팅의 역량모델 초안을 개발하였다. 이 모델의 문항에 대하여 고용서비스 및 컨설팅을 제공하는 공공기관 소속 168명의 경력개발 컨설턴트를 대상으로 데이터를 수집하여 분석을 수행하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 총 6개 요인을 측정하기 위한 27개 문항을 최종적으로 선정하여 경력컨설팅 역량모델을 구성하였다. 또한, 역량모델을 통하여 자가 측정된 역량수준과 업무성과 간 상관관계 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 정의된 경력컨설팅 역량모델의 준거타당도를 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a competency model for career consulting. To achieve this, the current status and scope of career development consulting were first examined, and existing competency models in professional fields related to careers were reviewed. Specifically, we developed a draft competency model for career consulting by reviewing the competency models of traditional career counseling, which has established authority in supporting individuals in achieving their career goals, and the relatively recently recognized competency models in the field of career coaching. To analyze the competency model’s validity, data was collected from 168 career development consultants at a public agency that implements employment and labor policies. Based on exploratory factor analysis, 27 questions were selected to measure a total of 6 factors, and the final competency model for career counseling was constructed. In addition, by analyzing the correlation between self-measured competency levels and job performance using the competency model, the criterion-related validity of the career counseling competency model defined in this study was confirmed. Based on the above results, we propose the utilization and implication of this study.
