교수자·학습자 요구분석에 기반한 코로나19 확산단계별 대학의 원격수업 유형과 운영방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 코로나19라는 재난 상황에서 시도되었던 원격수업에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 경험과 요구를 토대로 원격수업 유형과 운영방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이에, 본 연구는 코로나19 대응 상황을 3개 단계로 구분하고, 이에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 경험과 요구를 분석하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해, 교수자 165명, 학습자 986명이 설문조사에 응답하였고, 교수자 3인, 학습자 3인인 면담에 참여하였다. 연구결과, 코로나19 대응 원격수업에 대한 만족도에서 교수자와 학습자의 만족도는‘학습 내용 이해’,‘학습량 감소’,‘반복학습’,‘자기주도 학습역량 향상’에서 통계적으로 유의하게 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 동영상 콘텐츠 활용수업에서 교수자들은 ‘강의형+퀴즈/학습활동과제 제공’이라고 응답하였으나, 학습자들은‘강의형 수업’이라고 인식하는 경향이 높았다. 또한, 교과목 유형(이론/실험실습/통합)에 따라 실시간 ZOOM 수업에서 교수자와 학습자가 기대하는 수업방법은 모두 강의중심 수업으로 나타났다. 아울러, 교수자와 학습자 대상 설문조사와 면담 실시 결과, 코로나19 확산단계별 원격수업 유형이 6가지로 도출되었다. 원격수업 유형 도출결과에 대한 전문가 타당화 검토를 2회 실시하여, 최종 원격수업 유형과 운영방안을 제시하였다. 요컨대, 본 연구는 코로나19 대응 원격수업에 대한 교수자와 학습자의 요구로부터 기존의 대면 수업방식을 새로운 원격수업 체제로 전환해야 할 필요성이 있음을 제기하였다.

영문 초록

This study tried to explore the types of distance instruction and operation plans based on the experiences and demands of instructors and learners about distance instruction that were attempted in the disaster situation of COVID-19. Therefore, this study divided the COVID-19 response situation into three stages and analyzed the experiences and needs of instructors and learners. To conduct this study, 165 instructors and 986 learners responded to the survey, and 3 instructors and 3 learners participated in the interview. As a result of the study, in the satisfaction of distance instruction in response to COVID-19, the satisfaction of instructors and learners was found to be statistically significantly different in 'understanding of learning content', 'reduction in learning volume', 'repetitive learning', and 'improvement of self-directed learning competency'. appear. In the video content utilization class, instructors responded that ‘lecture + quiz/learning activity assignments are provided’, but learners tended to perceive it as ‘lecture-type class’. Also, according to the subject type (theory/experimental practice/integration), lecture-centered classes were commonly presented as the teaching methods expected by instructors and learners in real-time ZOOM classes. In addition, a result of the survey and interview analysis of instructors and learners, six types of distance instruction were derived for each stage of COVID-19 spread. Expert validation was conducted twice for the result of deriving the distance instruction type, and the final distance instruction type and operation plan were presented. In short, this study suggests that there is a need to convert the existing face-to-face class method to a new distance instructional system from the demands of instructors and learners for distance instruction using non-face-to-face methods.
