국문 초록

이 연구는 아동의 건강한 발달을 위해서는 행복감이 중요하다는 점에 초점을 두고 아동 개인과 그들을 둘러싼 환경 영역의 개입지점을 발견하기 위해 설계되었다. 구체적인 연구목적은 아동의 자기표현능력과 사회자본이 행복감에 미치는 직접효과와 적응유연성의 간접효과를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 부산 소재 초등학교 5, 6학년을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문지법으로 자료를 수집하여 221부를 최종 분석하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS와 AMOS를 활용하여 경로분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기표현능력과 사회자본은 아동의 행복감에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 아동의 자기표현능력이 높을수록 행복감이 높으며, 사회적 자본이 높을수록 행복감이 유의미하게 높아지는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 아동의 자기표현능력은 적응유연성을 거쳐 행복감에 간접적인 영향을 미치며, 사회자본 또한 적응유연성을 거쳐 행복감에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과에 따른 논의를 통해 아동의 행복감을 높이기 위한 개인과 환경 영역의 개입방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

With a focus on the point that happiness is important for the healthy development of children, this study is designed to find out the points to intervene with individual children and environmental domains surrounding them. The specific purpose of research is to verify the direct effects of self-expression ability and social capital on happiness and the indirect effects of resilience in children. To address the goal, this researcher collected data with the self-administering questionnaire method targeting elementary school 5th and 6th graders in Busan and used 221 sheets for final analysis. About data analysis, SPSS and AMOS were utilized to verify the hypotheses through path analysis, and the main results are presented as follows. First, self-expression ability and social capital exert direct effects on happiness in children. This means that the higher a child’s self-expression ability, the higher the level of happiness, and when they have more social capital, the level of happiness gets higher significantly. Second, self-expression ability has indirect effects on happiness with the mediation of resilience, and social capital also influences happiness indirectly with the mediation of resilience in children. Through the discussion over the findings, this researcher suggests measures to intervene with individuals and environmental domains to enhance children’s happiness.
