간병인 전문화를 위한 맞춤식 간병 및 재활교육의 필요성과 요구도 조사: 노인성 질환 환자를 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 간병 서비스의 질적 향상과 간병인 전문화를 위한 맞춤식 간병 및 재활 교육이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 간병인의 직무분석 선행 연구를 토대 간병인 전문화를 위한 맞춤식 간병 및 재활 교육의 필요성과 요구도를 조사함으로써 점차 확대되는 간병의 전문성과 간병 서비스 제도의 바람직한 정착에 활용될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 대상자는 총 231명으로 국내 재활/요양병원에서 근무하는 작업치료사 74명, 간병인 63명, 간병경험이 있는 보호자 94명을 대상으로 종이 설문지 및 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구기간은 2023년 3월 18일부터 4월 18일까지 4주간 시행되었다. 설문지는 간병인의 직무분석 선행 연구를 바탕으로 간병 교육 문헌조사와 임상 10년 차 이상의 작업치료사 3인의 전문가 자문을 통해 초안을 작성한 후 간호학과 전공 교수 1인, 작업치료학 전공 교수 1인을 대상으로 예비설문을 실시한 후 수정하여 사용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 맞춤식 간병 및 재활교육 연관 간병인의 직무분석으로는 위생보조, 식사보조, 배설보조, 환자 활동 보조, 처치보조, 취침준비, 기타 직무로 7개의 직무로 선정하였다. 둘째, 대상자별 간병인 직무 분석에 따른 맞춤식 재활 교육의 필요성과 요구도를 물어보는 설문에는 작업치료사, 간병인, 간병경험이 있는 보호자 모두 간병업무에서 재활교육의 필요성과 요구도가 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론: 본 연구에서는 간병인의 전문화를 위해 맞춤식 간병 및 재활교육이 시행될 수 있도록 제도가 장착되어 정형화된 간병 재활 교육의 시행이 임상에서 빠르게 적용되어야 할 것이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

Objective : There is a need for customized nursing and rehabilitation education to improve the quality of care services and specialize caregivers. In this study, based on previous studies on job analysis of caregivers, the necessity and demand for customized caregiving and rehabilitation education for specialization of caregivers were investigated. It aims to provide basic data that can be used for the increasingly expanding professionalism of care and desirable settlement of the care service system. Methods : The subjects of this study were a total of 231 people, and paper questionnaires and online surveys were conducted on 74 occupational therapists, 63 caregivers, and 94 caregivers with experience in domestic rehabilitation/nursing hospitals. The study period was 4 weeks from March 18, 2023 to April 18, 2023. Based on previous research on job analysis of caregivers, the questionnaire was drafted through a literature review on nursing education and expert advice from three occupational therapists with more than 10 years of clinical experience. After conducting the survey, it was modified and used. Results : First, in the job analysis of the caregiver related to customized care and rehabilitation education, seven jobs were selected as hygiene assistance, meal assistance, excretion assistance, patient activity assistance, treatment assistance, bedtime preparation, and other duties. Second, the need and demand for customized rehabilitation education according to the caregiver job analysis for each subject were investigated. The need for rehabilitation education was confirmed from all occupational therapists, caregivers, and caregivers with experience in caregiving. Conclusion : In this study, it is considered that the implementation of standardized care rehabilitation education should be quickly applied in clinical practice with a system installed so that customized care and rehabilitation education can be implemented for the specialization of caregivers.
