국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료사인 연구자가 ‘보호관찰 청소년’과 함께 한 미술치료 과정의 미술치료 경험과 그 의미와 본질을 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 미술치료과정에서 보호관찰 청소년, 미술치료사, 미술작품 3자 관계에서 치료사의 치료 경험과 의미를 탐구하기 위하여 미술치료사이며 연구자인 ‘나’의 자전적 탐구를 시도하였다. 본 연구 자료는 2019년 9월부터 2022년 11월까지 보호관찰 청소년과 함께한 미술치료 과정의 면담과 연구자 작업 자전적 저널을 통하여 수집되었다. 이 과정에서 발굴된 경험 이야기는 ‘보호관찰 청소년에 대한 선입견을 벗는다’ ‘내담자와 미술작업을 통해 공감 능력을 키운다’ ‘내담자 삶의 소중함을 알게 된다’의 의미를 생성하였다. 탐구 결과, 첫째 미술치료는 보호관찰 청소년에 대한 선입견을 벗어버리고, 내담자와 치료사의 특별한 마음을 나누는 공간이었다. 둘째 미술치료사는 자신의 감정을 치료적 매체로 진솔한 공감과 성장을 경험하였다. 셋째 내담자는 치료사와 함께 미술치료과정에서 자연스러운 소통의 변화가 확장되었다. 넷째 미술치료사는 전문가로 성장하기 위해 자기성찰적 노력을 지속해서 하고 있다.를 경험하였다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to rehabilitate the experience of art therapy, and the meaning and essence of art therapy with ‘an adolescent under probation' by an art therapist. In order to explore the experience and meaning of the therapist in the three-way relationship among the probation juvenile, the art therapist, and artwork, the art therapist studied autobiographically. For this study, data was collected from the interview of the youth in the art therapy and the therapist’s journals from September 2019 to November 2022. The experiential stories discovered in this process created the meaning of ‘getting rid of prejudice about juveniles under probation’, ‘developing empathy through art work with clients’, and ‘getting to know the value of client’s life’. As a result of the investigation, first, the art therapy was a space to get rid of prejudices about juveniles under probation and to share the special feelings between the client and the therapist. Second, the art therapist experienced sincere empathy and growth by using their emotion as a therapeutic medium. Third, the natural communication change of the client with the therapist was expanded during the art therapy process. Fourth, the art therapist continue to make self-reflectional efforts to grow as an expert. Based on these contents, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
