국문 초록

본 연구는 언어학습장애아동을 대상으로 키워드 접근법을 활용하여 사회교과 어휘 중 지역어휘 학습 변화를 살펴보고자 한다. 연구대상은 학업성취가 어려운 초등학교 3학년 언어학습장애아동 1명을 선정하였다. 연구절차는 AB방식의 단일대상연구로 중재는 총 10회기로 이루어졌다. 중재 기간 동안 총 50개의 목표어휘를 키워드 접근법을 활용하여 진행하였다. 자료처리는 학습어휘에 대한 정반응을 백분위로 분석하여 치료전후 비교와 회기별 학습을 분석하였다. 연구결과 지역어휘에 대한 사전검사는 0%를 보였지만 사후에서는 86.67%, 유지 후 100%로 어휘 향상에 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 또한 회기별 어휘 학습변화에서도 회기가 거듭될수록 90% 이상의 높은 성취를 보였으며 유지 후에는 목표어휘를 모두 학습하는 모습을 보였다. 이상의 결과와 같이 키워드 접근법은 아동의 지역중심 어휘를 학습하는데 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 교과 중심의 어휘를 학습하고 회상하는데 있어 키워드 접근법은 언어학습장애아동에게 효과적인 교수전략이라고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the learning change in local vocabulary among the vocabulary of social subjects by using keyword strategy for children with language learning disabilities with low academic achievement. The subject of this study was one child with language learning disabilities in the third grade of elementary school. The child had low academic achievement in a subject needing memorizing. As for the research procedure, AB-style single subject research was conducted, and the intervention consisted of a total of 10 sessions. During the 10 sessions of the intervention period, 50 target words were arbitrated using keyword method. For data processing, positive responses to learning vocabulary were analyzed as percentiles, and comparisons before and after intervention and learning by session were analyzed. As a result of the study, it showed 0% in the pre-test of local vocabulary, but 86.67% in the post-test of local vocabulary and 100% after maintenance, showing a positive change in vocabulary improvement. Also, in terms of vocabulary learning change, as the sessions progresses, Child achieved high achievement of over 90% and memorized all 50 target words after 3 weeks of intervention. As shown above, keyword method had a positive effect on children's regional-oriented vocabulary learning. Therefore, in learning and recalling subject-centered vocabulary, the keyword method can be said to be an effective teaching strategy for children with language learning disabilities.
